I pretty much played the shitty single player for M249, and hated every second of it.

I've never played any Battlefield online and I most likely never will. People don't even know how to enjoy single player games anymore...

Not true. I play the single player on all the games I buy. I just bought Wolfenstein the New Order too and I'm enjoying it. No open world , but the Brutality in it makes up for that

God damn it, what can I even do to make someone at EA to fix the damn FOV? Wherever I look it's like a freaking dead end. Asking on Battlelog forums did nothin at all, I'm waiting for tech support which says "Waiting time under 5 minutes" for the last half an hour. Arrgh. Battlefield 3 was pretty cool and I liked the campaign, I really want to play Battlefield 4 and I just can't with such horrible FOV. I just get a massive headache if I try playing it in current form. Was the same with Call of Duty Advanced Warfare 3 and Bioshock Infinite. Bunch of broken AAA titles. But then I've played Alien Rage Unlimited few weeks ago, a fairly unknown game and guess what, it had a 100% functional FOV setting.

Why can some random unknown developers make FOV functional but big AAA devs don't give a flying fart. Idiotic beyond reason.

All servers are empty! Stupid Hardline!

Rejzor, I have no problems with FOV. I changed both on foot and in vehicle to 70 and it works perfectly. Perhaps you're doing something wrong.

How exactly can you do something wrong with a slider. Setting it to either extreme and the in-game FOV is exactly the same each time.

I tried out hardline last night and came back to BF4 and while I like the changes with movement and gun feel in Hardline. BF4 is still better and more fun.

However I only play on a 24 man bolt sniper only server mainly. Maybe some TDM/Conquest here and there. (Explosives get old)

Pay attention to word SINGLEPLAYER. I know it works in multi, but why the hell it doesn't in singleplayer where it doesn't even matter if I somehow cheat or have advantage over otehrs, because tehre aren't any "others". And yet FOV just doesn't work at all.

I have talked with people at dice.la they are trying but the idiots @ .se left them a mountain of shit to shovel if you played cte you would know a couple people from dice.la play for hours every-time a major patch is released
if you don't play cte you miss out on all the fun stuff nightmaps, .. changes to the maa that make it not super op and banana guns!

I've found this tool that does what fucking lazy programmers should have done in the first place. I freaking don't get it. Game has the code to do it, but I have to use a 3rd party hack tool in order to play this thing like a normal human being. Luckily the tool supports loads of games and unfortunately, because it will just encourage developers to be even more lazy...

Jesus, it's because the single player is supposed to be a cinematic experience, too, so they don't want you fucking with the way they intended it to look. It's not hard to figure out if you think about it. Hollywood directors don't want their movies panned and scanned, and neither to game makers. Enough already, no one here even cares about the single player, much less your rants.
