Just a suggestion: Put a link in your first post for download. Make a table of the results in order fastest to slowest and get rid of the poll

i can add the link no problem and i will do that now, great idea.

the table i will struggle with, i could compile one when more results are in but i dont know how to set up an updateable one.

thanks for showing an interest @Jetster

i think it should show slowest to fastest though.....that way i can be first with my impressive 95 second startup !!!!! :clap:

26 seconds, could be faster if afterburner and whatpulse didn't start on boot. Core boot time is 6 seconds, I say we should also have a poll for that too.

I got a result of 22 seconds, but I would only say boot took 7 seconds. Like on AlienIsGod 's screenshot above I would say his only took 15 seconds. I would not count the 31 seconds it gives.

The time when it measures the so called desktop portion is silly. My desktop is usuble after 7 seconds, or 15 in the example above. I am already into chrome loading up techpowerup and it is till timing me.

While I'm no bbcode guru, if you need help setting up a table, give it a whirl:

Code:
[table=head] a | b | c d
z | y | x | w[/table]

After the table=head, the first row will be the column names separated by "|", so pick whatever

After that start a new line with whatever data submitted by people's posts, again separated by "|"

You should have posters post their data (whatever and however you want it) in the format you want so you can just copy paste it in the OP.

Code:
[table=head]username | boot time | os | hdd or ssd | capacity (%)
manofthem | 1 second | win 11 | Samsung super ssd | 110%[/table]

Ask them to format like this for example

manofthem | 1 second | win 11 | Samsung super sd | 110%

username | boot time | os | hdd or ssd | capacity (%)
manofthem | 1 second | win 11 | Samsung super ssd | 110%

None of this is real data of course, just an example. Hope it helps (very rough draft swiped from my phone in a hotel room lol)

Also check out @Mussels' thread on pc power where he uses a very good table. That's where my limited info came from. ;)

if he quotes that post, he can see the entire table code listed and copy-paste the beginning and end code.

i dont mean to conspiracy theory or anything, but how do we trust a russian closed source somewhat low level tool that has website & app ui design that looks like it's 'fake'? i do like the thorough changelog/features pdf though
