So I've been following these developers for almost a year now, and there's only been brief images and hints about the game they've been developing on the side. It's an isometric cARPG called Bombshell [Official Site].
It's being developed by Interceptor (Duke Nukem II, Rise of the Triad), and Published by 3D Realms (Duke Nukem, Max Payne II, Rise of the Triad, Shadow Warrior). All developed in Unreal Engine.
The developers originally scrapped the first iteration of the game as it wasn't up to scratch, and they began development on this new version when they had to cancel the production of Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction.

Thankfully, this isn't a rushed desperate release. The only release date I've been given is "2015, when it's done". I hope they take all the time that they need to make a game that is able to compete in such a saturated genre. But I would like futuristic guns to make an appearance in the ARPG area, hopefully they come with enough punch.
