intake or exhaust h80i

My case is raidmax serian with mesh side panel and front. I intake 1 at the front and exhaust 1 at the side. The h80i is exhaust out of the case at the back. I don't know if intake the h80i will give better temp for cpu?

side fan usually giving fresh air to your vga card so its for intake, for liquid cooling if you could you can use push and pull fan configuration, it will give you better performance than using only one fan

Intake will always give better temps for a rad. Intake pull is usually the best for low speed, and intake push if you dont mind having a computer that sounds like a vacuum cleaner with high speed fans. (as said above, push pull is the best).

just make sure you are intaking cool air, - intaking from the back is iffy, because the GPU and PSU spew hot exhaust, and are often right below the back fan - thus top or side is better for this.

As everyone said, intake fan against Rad ... to push fresh air into rad's fins, for refreshing water...
Adding another Fan to pull hot air will add a boost lowering rad temps,

i use intake fresh air from outside thru rad into the hotter case, but you can always do some test runs in each position! it is not a big job to turn it.

I understand why people would use a radiator at intake side, with cool air from outside the case being drawn through it, but in my mind that is negated by the increased ambient temps in the case by the warm air being pushed in.
I would always use a fan as intake and have the radiator on the output side to expel warm air.

anyone know anything performs better than h80i? im using push and pull config with cougar led fan coz they are very quite. however the temp is not amazing. My 3770k @ 4.6ghz 1.275v in bios and 1.296v in cpuz 's temp is 69-84 C during OCCT. gaming is around 60C. I want to push it a little bit higher, but my case doesn't support 240mm radiator or bigger. Any close loop cooler or air cooler outperforms my h80i?

put the rad to the back of the case and run it as exhaust pushing/pulling air out the case while also cooling the water in the rad.

replace the fans...?
look for high presure / speed fans that may decrease temps, also you can replace thermal paste, does you still usin the pre-applied paste that comes with your H80i?

I want acoustic so I chose the cougar fan. They 're death silent, Im not sure the bitfenix spectro pro is better. I don't like the noctua poop color and I heard it has more noise than the cougar. Im using IC Diamond on all my pc. Never use stock thermal.

pure BS, no fans is as good as Noctuas, those Cougar fans output a high pitch noise when orientated a certain way. They also don't have great static pressure properties which makes them meh on a radiator. Noctua has Black fans now, so color should be non issue.

No disrespect intended, but....,
OP, your problem is that the components that you have don't line up with your desires. You want quiet, but yet you have a case that has no sound deadening features (along with atrocious airflow) and one of the loudest (with stock fans) AIO's made. Your GPU is very quiet though. You want extreme performance AND low noise, which requires planning.
So, IMHO:
-Get a new case. Corsair 330R, 550D, Antec P100, Nanoxia and Fractal Design cases, maybe even some of the NZXT cases. Something that's designed for airflow AND sound deadening.
-Get a 240 AIO. (or, if the case allows, a 280/360) They can be much quieter. (do your research)
Why do you need to push your CPU so high? Are you just turning it up to 11?
(The case that has the looks of a "gamer" along with being quiet is the NZXT H440. It's drawbacks(?) are no ODD's and it doesn't push all that much air through the case. (I would not recommend it for SLI or Crossfire) But it supports radiators from 120 mm to 360 mm)
