Hi everyone. I already had a similar thread few months ago.. but my problem didnt really get fixed. So i decided to make a new thread, and maybe get some more information.

i have sucesfully OC'ed my chip to 4.2 Ghz @ 1.318v, it runs stable and temps are fine. When i go with 4.3Ghz @ 1.350v, it runs stable temps are fine as well, but when i come home after school and press power on button, it comes up with this bios message:

Then i just click '' Enter Bios '' as it doesnt change any of my settings, and i simply exit and save, and then it boots/runs fine @ 4.3Ghz. But i get this message almost everytime i boot it up, mostly when its a cold boot up. Does this mean i have reached my max oc? Or maybe someone could help me, or give me soem advice..?
Thanks. :)

How high are your motherboards VRM temp? Did you try to find an overclock with the similar board you have, and dial in those settings.
I found your previous thread. Did you try to replace the battery?

If it was a battery problem, wouldnt it give me the same message @ 4.2ghz as well? Because im running @ 4.2ghz fine, and had no problems with these clocks (Thanks god :D ). I dont have a similiar board to test it, and i think that my temperatures are fine overall.

That normally means your overclock is not fine and not stable. The Boot failguard or whatever it;s called kicks in and resets the values to default. Have you tested your CPU with OCCT or Prime? And what are your temperatures at load, since those ide temps are useless. Finally use HWinfo for monitoring not HWMonitor since it seems it's not reading some values correctly (it says your 12V line is at 7V)

Yes i have tested my cpu with prime95, temps never exceeded 60 degrees celcius, they maxed out at around 54 or so, but thats when it was at 4.3ghz, now at 4.2ghz my temps are lower.

Which temperature? Package? How long did you stress test and with what settings? Try also OCCT and ideally you would like to leave it overnight

I think you might look for some extra cooling on your VRM's.

So you think that VRMs are the cause of bios message pop up?
