he could just cut a lenght of solid wire and jam it in the slot
its only a ground
Looks like a 12v pin to me. The pinout also matches for 12v.

Hey,oh oh oh can I recommend something? In the off chance the board is toast for other reason you could simply jumper a small wire using a tad of solder from the crushed pin to one right beside it on the backside of the board. Which you can easily remove if the seller offers a return for broken shit. If it works then go back and re-solder the wire really good and find a way to make sure it insulated then you have a permanent fix.

I wouldn't hold onto that claim until the pin is fixed. I have a couple trash boards that fans spin up and all that but don't post due to the motherboard being bad. Also actually it should post if you can get the 4 pin cpu connector in there fine. I have tested boards using a 4 pin psu cpu connector in the 8 pin connector on the mobo and they boot just fine. I wouldn't run it full time like that but it should post ok. And this is why I said the board maybe toast anyway.Hey,
The board isnt toas , all the fans spin when turning on.
Just no POST because of CPU

Exactly if it won't power up with the 4 pin plugged into the side with the 4 good pins chances are it is not going to work even if you fixed the connector. You can solder a whole new connector to the board and I believe you are going to find there are more issues then you think.Except the bent pin is not one of the pins for the 4 pin CPU connector, but it is used for the 8 pin.

This is the most glaringly obvious choice.

Moan, open a case, complain that the item is clearly damaged. If there are no pictures on the original selling page clearly showing an unbroken 8pin socket, then you have a very large chance of successfully getting a refund. In EU, 99% of the cases, eBay sides with the buyer, even if they're idiots.
Get a refund, buy a different board. Unless you're a soldering veteran, I wouldn't attempt to solder that board, for fear of borking something else while you're at it.

Even if the buyer caused the damage themselves, they usually get a refund, one of the reasons I hate selling on there now, I don't want to waste my time taking multiple pictures as documented proof for each sale.Moan, open a case, complain that the item is clearly damaged.
