I have a GTX 280 kicking around here. I'd ask say $30 for that... but it's pretty old as you know.

I appreciate it but no thanks man, I actually have a GTX 260 I just dug up I totally forgot about. Still would like to get something else within that budget though.

I snagged that 570 for around $70 shipped a while back...I guess it may have lived a harder life than I initially assumed. I'm gonna bake it and see what happens.

Got an EVGA GTX 460 SC that only ran about 50 hours as the second card in SLI, and recently tested as a single card for about 10 hours. Works great.

I was keeping it as a spare, but I still have another spare. It would be considerably less than your budget.

Don't blame you... Even Fermi provides better power to watt than the 280 series but that's kinda the progression of technology, lol.
