Always best to buy a matched set. You might buy one more stick a year later that is listed as the same model, and it would be just not up to the same exact build specs. My advice is always buy a pair together. They will likely have the same build date and lot#, etc.

This is a possibility. I have ran in to this myself with ram, and also a hard drive when getting a match to raid.

ya and if i get this job i be going with a 1tb SSD then just a HDD, the gpu can be last thing to get i can just use my geforce 640 or the on board graphics since its intel

intel graphics are decent but not enough for gaming, 1TB SSD? what a waste of money, games have a almost minimal improvement on SSD's, so the unique feature that i have seen and took advantagefrom a SSD drive its the booting time, they are fast as hell loading OS, thats the unique use i have found interesting so far, not for gaming, not for storage or shit, take a 128GB SSD for OS and your Daily use programs, save money and get a larger HDD,

i wanted to go that big i have 8 games on my steam account and planning on buying 15 more most of them take up to 20gb or higher is space and i want at least 200gb left other for other programs like windows updates, i use itunes for a few movies , and other normal programs i prob need maybe 500gb will be a better. and dont for get skyrim and a lot of mods i have some that take up to 2gb of space, my biggest game i think is ESO now with the unlimited around 80gb

@peche is right you don't need that big ssd. Put your games on a hdd. Only Thing is I would get 250/256 not 128

well, i respect every opinion here,
a 128GB SSD + 1TB hdd for music, movies, pics, games is enough...

my current setup is:
64GB SSD for OS + Work programs + 1 320GB Steam HDD + 2TB HDD for music, movies, pics and data...

To add to this...or (correct it - not sure what it does with the APU) it helps with iGPU graphics since it uses system ram for its vRAM.

Basically, unless you are using an iGPU or SLI/CFx solution, Any DDR3 1866 CL9 will be fine. Don't pay for more.
