I bought this case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133192

To build a Plex server with 10 drives installed. I ordered this..

To install in the front 3 5.25 bays.

The istar cage is about half inch to narrow on both sides so there is big gaps that are to far from the internal cage to mount it.
It would also have gaps that would not look pleasant to see, but I could cut out plastic to remedy that.

Any suggestions?

I know this may sound stupid so forgive me but try rotating it 90* I noticed this in one of the reviews
"Other Thoughts: Others have commented on the sparse and even confusing documentation.
IMO the most confusing thing is the different orientation shown in different pictures: most show the cage with the drives horizontal, but if mounted that way it is narrower than a 5.25" drive bay and would intrude into the space of a fourth bay"
