X-Fi Titanium HD
Toughpower Grand 750 watt
Haf X case
TP- Link USB Wi-Fi adapter 150mbps

So last night my feet accidentally switched off the surge protector outlet that my computer connects to and then after switching it back on no mater what I did to power on my computer, it won't work, no fans spinning, no leds lighted up except the one on my power supply, no nothing, it's like dead completely. And then I gave up and called it a night but in the morning today when I tried to give it another shot, it worked, it came back to life. Is this supposed to be normal? and since this is not the first time I've experienced a power loss with this computer, in fact several times already, are there possibly any deteriorating components in my computer besides the power supply?
like say CPU, GPU, Motherboard

Any responses will mean a lot. thanks!

If its not your outlet/house its your power supply. You just need to switch it out and see.

You live in the US? Old house?

It sounds like a normal response from the PSU, if it has OCP and or OVP it will need to reset itself after being triggered.
Try unplugging the PSU from the outlet and pressing the power button on your computer to drain all residual power, that may help reset it quicker.

Awesome analysis, I've never been aware of such things!

A small surge when power is turned back on can trigger it and shuts the PSU off to protect the system from damage.
Of course a large surge can cause damage still.
Has the surge protector outlet you use ever been tripped before, as that can lessen the degree they work, sometimes they wont be of any protection after a major surge, but power still passes through normally.

I don't know how to tell if it has been tripped before but I can tell that there have been hundreds of power loss occured but it was with my X58 build for the most part.

And I'm using two APC P5BT-GR as my surge protectors.

Out of my curiosity, do you think power loss can damage a processor?

I would only be guessing, but I would say it could degrade the processor, with low power or excessive variations.

That's discomforting enough but thanks!
