AMD should release their 390X first, then i'm expecting Nvidia to try and trump them.
From the same site, this article claims to have leaked benchmarks from a few upcoming cards.

What I found interesting was that GTX 970 in SLI beat all these new cards, and no doubt will be much cheaper.

Once we have tri-fan and water blocks for these new Ti cards, I think that they may be pretty good performers.
I'm also interested in what AMD releases.

Well, people bought Titans.. so probably some of them. I read somewhere that they were planning after the Summer, so I'm guessing September. I wish it was coming sooner.

Despite it being rumor at this point, this is the kind of thing that normally comes up true. And yeah, saw this coming a mile away even before Titan-X was released. Expected a Titan on GM200, then a cut down, faster GM200 for consumers.

I think everyone saw this coming, a repeat of last gen cards. Of course, AMD will release their cards first, and the Nvidia will drop this to reclaim the crown, if it loses it, that is.

Based on the charts I posted a link to, the cut down version performs slightly worse than the Titan-X and a the AMD card slightly better.

Hell, it's still over 15fps faster than the 980. The difference is close enough to the Titan that the cheaper price will more than make up for those extra 10 fps the Titan gives.

How do those charts compare to the performance of the real Titan X now that the reviews are out?

Just wI ndering, I mean they were leaked way before the card was released (and months before the 980Ti and 390X are supposed to be released) so comparing them to the real performance of Titan X would give them at least a little bit of credibility, if they don't compare well, I would take them with a bucket load of salt

Less than 2 weeks isn't way before a release. They may have had prototypes out and testing for months already, as they will have for the 390x and 980Ti.

Don't think you get my point, yes, only two weeks before Titan X was released, but months ahead of the 390X and 980Ti release. If those charts are to be given any credibility, whoever created them most have had access to prototype hardware for the two cards I mention, way before anyone outside AMD or Nvidia has (and probably using drivers that wont mirror the real performance of said cards on release)

So, taking that into consideration, how do those charts compare to the real performance of Titan X now that the card has been out for over a week?

I see you're willing to give those charts a fair amount of credibility, and to be honest with you as an actual owner of a Titan X card, I think you give them more credibility than they actually deserve, if you're actually trying to use them to predict the performance of two cards that are probably months ahead of their actual release to the public.

I do give these type of leaks credibility, mainly because it is insiders with knowledge that leak them.
Compared to Wizzard's review here on our Forum, the figures compare favorably.
I don't just blindly believe what I read without doing some research myself, even if it includes rumors on other sites.
What I won't do however is take them as gospel due to the nature of drivers and possibility of unlocked chips being released, some may even be purposefully restricted to leave the way open for a performance version later.

Basically the only way to find out how accurate they are is to sit and wait, if a 960Ti with 3Gb is released then those charts will only be further confirmed.
As an aside, the whole purpose of this thread is speculation as to what may happen.

Oh no. No, I didn't see that coming at all.

I hope it's not too expensive as this is the card I'll want to buy.

I'm guessing $650 USD would be a low starting point.

$650 is OK if the performance is there.
It would probably pay to wait for all of the NVIDIA partners to release their versions to see who has the best one.

This is what I love about review sites.
You get to ~try before you buy~ vicariously, so making the the right choice is easier to do.
