R9 280X looks like 270X

Hi,
I have an MSI R9 280X Gaming card, and I have just realized after 6 months from buying, that its panel doesn't look like the pictures on Google. Maybe it means nothing, but interesting.
In the 280X review the PSU connectors look like this: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/R9_280X_Gaming/images/power.jpg (about 2,5 cm far from the edge of headpipe). But my card's PSU connectors look like in the 270X review: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/R9_270X_Gaming/images/power.jpg (about 1 cm far from the edge of headpipe). Everything else is fine (clocks, 2 crossfire, mini DPs etc).
What would be the reason of this "issue"? Other revision?

Cards can go through many different revisions. What does GPU-Z say your card is?

There is probably no issue.

I've never seen a 280X, or 280 for that matter, that didn't have 6+8 pin connectors(I have the same card, and it does). It hardly seems possible that it could run with only 6+6. Considering the amount of power the card consumes. It makes no sense at all to me, frankly. I'd really like to see a pic of it myself.

Cards can go through many different revisions. What does GPU-Z say your card is?

There is probably no issue.

It says AMD Radeon R9 200 Series, but MSI Afterburner recognizes it normally as MSI R9 280X, and the clocks are fine as well both in GPU-Z and MSI AB.

The 280X only consumed ~205w at peak. 6+6 is good for up to 225w officially. Plus, card manufacturers tend to fudge the connector limits.

Sorry, my card also has 6+8 connectors, the point is on the second picture is the distance from the headpipe. See?
So my connectors are closer to the headpipe with about 1,5 cm than on the pictures on Google of 280X cards.

Just a PCB revision, nothing to worry about.

CC or GPU-Z should tell you the Bios of the card check it in the GPU database then you'll know

According to GPU-Z BIOS version is 015.042.000.000.003435 (113-C3865000-O77), and thankfully it belongs to the MSI R9 280X: http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/151603/msi-r9280x-3072-131204.html
