Hello all,
I have a problem after I update my BIOS mainboard K9A2 Neo-F, to latest offical bios version 7388v1D, my previson bios is from 2008, I update it bcs of my new processor amd athlon II x2 255, mobo dont recognized cpu (saying unknown cpu in my computer), it is only reason i have update bios. But after I update bios when I run GPU-z it saying that PCI-E 1.1 x16 @ x16 1.1, before update its report that is 2.0 pci-e @ 2.0 x16. Please help. I dont know what to do. How to make it again pcie 2.0 ? I try rendering test and play game and nothing. Please help me, is there some way to fix this ? Sry for my bad english.
Best regards.
I'm using HD6970 with amd athlon X2 255, 6gb ddr2, (2x2gb, 2x1gb kingston hyperx) my mobo is k9a2 neo F as I said but in GPU-Z it stated as PCI-Express 1.1...before update bios I dont have any problem except cpu code isnt recognized in my computer.
Thank you.

There may be an option in the BIOS to change the PCI-E link speed. I'd suggest loading the Optimized Defaults first and see if that fixes it. If not, start hunting through the BIOS and see if there is an option for PCI-E Speed.

Thank you all for quick replays, I fix the problem, I flashed mainboard bios again, but on little older version 7388v1B, and now it works on 2.0 @16 speed. Best regards

According to cpu-upgrade.com site the latest bios for your motherboard is 7388v1b

http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-MSI/K9A2_Neo-F_(MS-7388).html

Could not find the latest from MSI are you sure that the ver you upgraded to is correct ?

The latest BIOS for this mainboard is 7388v1D, i downloaded from official msi page this is link http://www.msi.com/support/mb/K9A2_NeoF.html#down-bios
I successfully solve the problem, I flashed bios mobo to 7388v1B, it is two version older then newest that I have. Problem is in the mobo bios with this configuration and this gpu. Now gpuz reports 2.0 x16 @ 2.0 x16. Best regards. And tnx for quick help and replay
