Well, "in engine footage" is different from "in game footage". I don't expect the game to look as good as the trailer. No space battles either. Meh, I'll just wait and see.

Yes but Disney didn't buy Lucasfilm/Star Wars until a year after SWTOR was out. Maybe things will be better with Disney running the show.

The Downloadable Content plan for the game is “extremely aggressive”. Expect up to five DLC packs for the game, with the first coming out before the end of 2015. Each pack will be themed, with the first two or three being exclusively based around content from The Force Awakens.

Trust me it is not even close to BF3/4 remember they teased us with it way back when BF3 beta came out ...........Just had to wait for Lucas and Disney to approve the license,It will be so off the norm BF franchise ,And yes Hardline is a fill gap ,this would be what would have came out(Star Wars) back when Hardline did .Now they Lucas and Disney want it out to help with the release of the new movie ,So December is TOTAL STAR WARS NERD FEST

I guess they've used different version of Frostbite. Sun effect showing that the game engine is Frostbite. But as I said, it may be different version.

I don't like the latest news I'm hearing from the dev interviews. No space battles, no story for solo play, and it's looking like not even any AI to team up with for sp, which would mean no more witty clone humor. They're also cutting out a LOT of the planets seen in Battlefront 2.

I hate to say it but this is starting to look like another dime a dozen eye candy game with no substance. For all we know it may have very limited detailed environments even outdoors, and a mostly glorified corridor shooter indoors. Some of the indoor scenes I've seen show a fairly plain looking layout.

The reason it sounds like solo play will be completely solo is IGN have reported that the devs are indicating solo play is being limited to certain maps like Destiny, because it's not adaptable to large scale battles like the Death Star. Even the Death Star map it seems would be rather lackluster if there's no space battles. Quite frankly I can't even picture how a Death Star map would be made or used if there's no space battles.

Sadly I am just a Star Wars fanatic as I was seven years old when the first movie came out. So I will be purchasing this and hoping for the best, but I will not be pre-ordering the game.
