i'm glad i only pay £ 2.50 per month and I'm not sure they even deserve that. A change of contract is imminent.

Arrrgh, this game is already getting annoying in some ways. I know a lot of people like Trevor, but his constant ego centric redneck attitude gets obnoxious. Someone needs to beat the living crap out of him to shut his arse up. Then I find just to go through parachute training for the other two, I have to pass a pretty hard heli training course, which makes no sense. They should put the harder sessions at the end. Some I've read are even having trouble with the plane courses. I passed those easily. I can get through the heli course, but it either says the heli is too damaged when I land, or I run out of time.

I also don't like the park and save feature for cars. It's too confusing and unpredictable. In GTA IV I knew exactly where to park and how many vehicles I could save. Some vehicles will appear in the driveway or on the curb, yet when you park them there, they will not necessarily save. I parked a buggy behind the Burgershot Stallion in Trevor's garage, only to find it only saved the Buggy. I drove all the way to Los Santos just to buy a garage, which then lets me select the Buggy or Stallion, but garages you purchase are not linked to your safehouse garages. It would be nice if there were a valet service like in GTA V where you could select any vehicle in your garage to be delivered. Sleeping Dogs had this too.

And the worst is, I'm getting random crashes here and there out of the blue, like many are. What started out as a relatively pleasant experience has degraded into a situation where I worry starting up another session will put me through more stress than it's worth.

LOL, if there's a character like Mike anywhere in the game to keep Trevor's attitude in check, it will give me more incentive to trudge through it's annoying parts. After the first mission with Trev and Michael, it's looking like Michael ain't that guy. Jonathan Banks is awesome.

I have to watch that series. Loved Breaking Bad, but have yet to check this one out.

You don't have to take those training courses. Doesn't add much to the game and everyone can fly whatever anyways. I have found that parking a vehicle in the garage or car port is the only way to for sure save your vehicle. Buying a garage works but like you said you have to drive to it to use any cars parked there. Honestly none of this ever bothered me. In fact I never gave it any thought until you complained. Now that you bring it up though I can see how this might bother some. I've played through this game a couple of times now and just bought it for PC.


Oh and Trev is the best.

Just want to say, I hadn't noticed but there actually IS a hold LMB to toggle to mouse pitch control for helis, but after trying it I find it's no better, worse actually. NO SPOILERS PLEASE, but the reason I was worried about not passing heli training is as I said, GTA IV had a fairly difficult mission where you HAD to fly one.

The "Dust Off" mission was the introduction to helis in GTA IV, and it was pretty easy, so naturally since GTA V has a pretty difficult heli school, one can conclude there might be a mission much more difficult than Paper Trail or Out of Commision (again, no spoilers please).

If you like Trev, not going to argue. I'll try and be more succinct and say I just don't like the predictable, repetitive, garbage mouth dialogue he's given, or that he's an even worse addict/loser than Johnny, but is in denial of it.

I'm sorry but I don't find dreaming up the most dysfunctional, hateful, psychopathic life a person can possibly have as equating to interesting, esp when he drones on 24/7 like a candidate for anger management sessions, which would only end by him killing the person trying to help him. He's what most criminals plotting a heist would call a liability, unnecessary risk, ticking time bomb, etc, etc.

It took a few to get use to flying but its not too bad. I haven't gotten to the training but you can steal on down by the water

Throw sticky bombs to the back doors (while in the car) and then let them drive off a little and hit the trigger.

Run over the 2 that get out (or let the freaks in traffic do it for you), grab the loot, and drive in large circles cause the cops are dumb. If you're in the city, just drop down in the drain. Driving down the railroad tracks is always a valid option too (when ever they're around). If driving down roads, be sure not to get too far away from the cops looking for you. Otherwise the game will spawn more cops in front of you.

I have random crashes from story mission 1-2 times a day. Not bug related, just random.

Restart the game and replay the mission exactly the same way with no problems. It's like the game is trying to piss me of.

Yeah heli training IS hard. But its hard in real life, too. I was pleasantly surprised that helis are as unstable in GTA as they are in real life. Just be gentle on the sticks and you're fine.

BANK-VAN: Thanks Mstrdrvr! On screen help says to ram into the reardoor, but I must find the way to do it at highspeed, no luck until now. They just race away when they notice me and alert cops.
Gotta try that sticky bomb plan, no idea of that (never played GTA before, I am playing like a blind duck)

HELI ETC training, I have not gotten the oportunity , maybe need to level up.

I too started experiencing crashes, but Online only, disabled my AV real-time protection (avast!) and hasn't crashed since. I did find one bug though - bought a garage and tried to enter it with my car, show the entering animation, but then I was still outside and couldn't do anything, had to start a new session! Lessen learned: if you buy a garage, walk in it so it can show you the tutorial. Dunno if this is applicable to all garages though, mine was 67K, 6 cars and located somewhere near the docks.

Holding a heli still is damn hard They have a natural tendency to drift and yaw and once you rocked it too much, stabilizing it is a real issue. Well the console controller's stick travel is bit guilty there. Too sensitive. I haven' flown a heli on PC yet; I did find them relatively hard to control on console but you get used to it. Flying with as little aileron input as possible also helps.

Keyboard/Mouse must be easier. I'm having no issues controlling them. I have been turning the DPI way down when flying in game

Trevor is my new father figure. He's the man I want to be one day. The man lives with the volume set to 11. How else are you supposed to roll?

Nice that there is a trainer now, but I can't get it to work yet, in the game it needs to be activated with the home key, which gives me a social club menu
