So I found out that the history on stock prices is only correct when you've played the game long enough to fill up the weeks worth of history that's tracked. Once you load another session (like when you first play the game since closing it out), the history is messed up even though the correct price is given.

Also, I don't think this was posted on here. If it has, then please forgive me.

I can't believe Rockstar optimized the game so well after the fiasco GTA IV was, this one runs without any issues and super smooth so far.

At 4K and 2xMSAA it's using over 8GBs of VRAM but the frame rate is buttery smooth

Ah, so you were the one that did all the tests for nvidia's performance guide article ... interesting how's it showing sum of VRAM amount in SLI

don't waste your time buying any business properties until late game (has nothing to do with story).

edit: you spend $300,000 to purchase the Scrapyard but only make $150 per car you crush.. guess how many cars you need to crush before you see profit? lol

I really enjoyed the Empire building and Drug dealing in the portable games. I wish Rockstar continued on that path.

Haven't had any CTDs since not using throwable weapons on foot. I did Caida Libre via just

Enjoyed the moto ride and mt bike descent on Caida Libre and Risk Assessment. Reminded me of my old biking days.

Just bought the taxi business via Franklin. It's nice just being able to fast travel anywhere free, but when trying to catch one from a dirt road near a sea race I did, no cab showed, despite the dispatcher saying one would be sent. Went up to the paved bridge above the spot, and still got no ride.

So far the property investments seem somewhat lackluster. Then again, this is a game you can play without purchasing much. I'd just rather have investments actually be worthwhile.

Lol I wish I was on Nvidia's payroll

And yes, its weird how it shows 24GBs of VRAM, I thought it would take DX12 to turn the total sum of memory on multiple cards into one single pool of memory

The GTA Wiki tells you how much of what ever it is (weeks, cars crushed, tows, etc) you need to break even on the properties. It also tells you who can by them so you don't drive across the map just to find out you can't buy it with that character.

I've hit a point in the game where its only at 35% or so total completion but there appears to be no missions left, short of the plane stunts and races..am I missing something?

Is this before a heist by any chance? You have set it up by stealing a couple of things but the main heist isn't triggering?

If so, either Michael needs to do the flight training and a few of the FiB missions ( B on the map) before it will trigger.

I had to kill Franklin three times to skip it lol

deleting cfg.dat and pc_settings.bin did nothing and I didn't unlock the RPG until shortly after that mission.

I've hit another spot that's buggy, and was wondering if you had any problems with it or know of a workaround. It's called "The Paleto Score" mission. Everything goes OK until...

...we exit the bank, I can never get more than one of the guys I'm with to be responsive, which causes the chopper tied to the cutscene not to come. Cops just keep coming with no forward progress. Worse yet, when I kill myself 3 times with C4, I try to skip the segment, but it just loads the cutscene with the cops first response, and loops back through it.

I've tried deleting the autosave, turning off autosaves, and going back to the Minor Turbulence mission prior to it, and playing the setup mission various ways, and even the intervening Predator mission where Trevor mops up the remaining O'Neill bros various ways, but I always get that bug at the Paleto Bank. I'm patched to 1.0335.1, so I don't get what's causing this.

I've read people have had this bug dating back to the original PS3/360 releases, but most said restarting their consoles and/or deleting the save corrected it. No such luck so far. This game is very aggravating to play.

Did you do the final heist yet?

I managed to crash it only once, back when it was completely unpached, I fiddled with too many graphics settings back and forth with game loaded.

I have had only 1 crash, while the game was loading I used alt+tab to get to the desktop because I wanted to start fraps, then I got a message that GTA V stopped responding. Never had it crashed again after that.

I've got the Logitech Attack 3.

Sometimes I still use my old Microsoft Sidewinder, I got it working in GTA IV and SA with "xbox360emu" it uses Direct Input.
Search a download with google and give it a try.

Edit: Oh it's a joystick...Yeah... Don't know if it works with these files..

I've got the Logitech Attack 3.

I don't know about a joystick but an X360 controller works, and probably any gamepad if you use x360ce.

Anyone know if it's possible to take out the Madrazo Cartel before doing The Paleto Score? I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the AI problems I'm having.

These guys pop up everywhere if Trevor or Michael tries to go to Los Santos, and often times the way they spawn and chase you makes no sense.

Like I'll be heading back to Sandy Shores on the freeway after driving to some parachute places as Trevor, but they spawn on the opposite side of it coming from the direction of Sandy Shores.

And of course this is just pathetic because they're stuck on the other side of the divider, ramming into cars as they slow down and swerve when I pass by. They should be spawning in Los Santos and chasing me on the side I'M driving.

OK, I give up on workarounds for The Paleto Score glitch.

Anyone have a save game for just after completing that mission by any chance? I've seen 100% completion save games, but I really don't want that because a lot of things can't be replayed.

Spent some good time with this game yesterday. The game is awesome on PC. performance could be better. Playing the game with everything enabled and highest settings except for MSAA which is set to x2. Most of the time I'm getting a solid 60 fps, but driving around I've noticed an average of 43 fps. I might have to screw around with my settings. Honestly game runs great though. I haven't had any CTD's or anything.
I'm using both kb/m and xbox one controller (for driving) and it's great!

Usually if you see nothing on the screen it means you need to be on another character. Are you saying all three characters have nothing to do on the map? Maybe try sleeping to let another day go by? Could trigger the next thing to do.

I've played through this game twice on different consoles and never experienced this or any other major issue. So far PC version is going great.
