Yesterday, it was a R9 270X. Today it's one step up, for $10 more after $30 MIR (expires 4/30)
XFX Double D R9-280A-TDFD Radeon R9 280 3GB
For the same price as a GTX 750 Ti and $50 less than the GTX 960, you get a GPU that performs 60%+ faster than the 750, and almost 10% faster than the 960. The 3 GB of RAM allows for higher resolutions though.
Power usage: ~190 watts (w1zzard never tested the 280's, so I'm using the 7970 numbers) (and yes, that's ~80 watts more than the 960:() which can be run by a quality 550 watt PSU (XFX says 750 watts) like, well, lets make it a XFX party XFX XTR Series P1-550B-BEFX 550W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC With Full Modular Cables

Awesome price for an awesome card. I run a xfx 7950 (same card basically with an older version of the DD) with a 500W Corsair bronze psu and overclocked FX 6300 without any problem. System consumes <500 at full load (PSU stress testing) and about ~350 when gaming so 500W is more than enough

I got this card at MicroCenter in February for $160 with a $25 mir....I'm playing it at 1920x1080 and honestly not sure what more you would ever need at that resolution.
