I am a avid iRacer

I gave that game a try a couple years ago. It seemed that a person would have to spend a ton of money to get any where though. I still keep getting 1/2 priced deals, 3 months for the price of one, etc...
From what I seen though, you only get the very cheapest built race cars until you spend a lot to get up in the ranks. Please correct me if I'm wrong and PM me info as I would really really like to get further in iRacing!

Pretty sure the first PC game I played at home was some sort of iteration of "Snake" on the Commodore PET.

Am I the only old fart here that started out on PC post 2000, and has played only on PC? I guess I'm just a late bloomer.

BTW, finally made a purchase on those gaming glasses I was talking about. Rather than getting hung up on style, I went for the Gamma Ray brand, which quite frankly looks similar to Gunnar's cheapest models anyway, at 1/3 the price.

I got the Flexlite models with zero magnification. They're quite comfortable and very effective at reducing eye strain from blue light and glare. I could tell they'd block blue light before even trying them on because any bright light source you see reflecting off the lens looks blue.

I've gamed with them for hours with around the ear headphones on with no problem. They also come in a nice hard shell case. They're a bit nerdy looking, but I won't be wearing them in public anyway. One of the reasons I bought these other than not being overpriced like Gunnars is the frames are a practically indestructible memory polymer that takes a lot of bending while retaining their shape.

I noticed the price went up on these a couple bucks since I bought mine. They actually have more positive reviews than any of the Gunnar models, and some actually prefer them to Gunnars they've owned. Gunnars are all magnified slightly and a bit darker. These are so lightly tinted there's no noticeable discoloration while gaming. Even when surfing forums with white backgrounds, it just makes it a slightly softer white vs yellow.
