No boot, "Dual BIOS LED" blinking (MSI P67A-GD65)

Apparently the blinking meant the first BIOS failed...idk what to do though (most search results are for those that were OC'ing or trying to update the BIOS; I haven't), and this netbook is too slow (not to mention the internet LOL) for more searching.

Reading up the manual so far just clarified what the blinking meant but not much else lol

and update: fiddling with the RAM meant it now boots, but still no display and the light continues to blink.

swapping ram would be first but you did that already-tried with 1 stick too?
if you hve not changed something in your build then clear cmos step by step checking cables try other graphiccard and so on

Solved, cleared CMOS without the video card, booted (with the video card still in the original slot), no blinking BUT still no display. Switched the PCI-E slot used, now display works.

Try reseating your cpu and cooler- I've seen threads in the past discussing similar issues and it seems that the cooler can flex the board just enough to affect a memory slot and/or the top PCIE slot. One of my older X58 boards would lose a memory slot if the cooler was too tight.
