Great game but I have been side tracked with other great games. ED is pretty damn cool and combat is fun. SC looks better and IMO will be hands down the better game but ED is awesome too! I say play both when SC releases.

I'm just getting back in, I was around the Cemiess area but keep getting stuck helping the Feds....lol. Not sure which way I want to go...just been having fun in LTT 8517 at the conflict zones, though I hopped on last night and they're all gone....

Time to find more! I much prefer combat and bounty hunting to trading. I'm even debating my trusty ol' Type 6...

I will likely keep it though, keeping my Cobra which has really been a great ship. Planning on getting a Viper for combat duties soon too. Just need to find more conflict zones to get into.

What you all using for weapon loadouts?

For my vulture I have one large G beam and one large G cannon. My Viper used one medium G beam, 1 medium G multi, and 2 small G multis.

HA, at least with this game they adding content and not removing content briefly after adding it.

Used to need to go to acts to find a item but not now all you need to do is rifts 24\7 that is after you done 24\7 of act 1 and maybe another act for bounty crap lol., just like they removed the ingredients to make stuff as it was taking people to long when they should of just made the item drop in 5's 10's or some thing not frigging remove it lol.

Hoping that 1.3 and PowerPlay offer the major changes that FD claims with benefits for all. Looking forward to trying the beta in a few days. I'm resisting on some of these CG's because I am trying to keep away from trading for a bit and keep on combat. Working to save up for a spec'd out Viper to play with, the Cobra's been great, and I plan on keeping my ships at this point so that's adding to the slowness of upgrading lol.

So I jumped on it and decided to grab Elite: Dangerous and I'm going through the tutorials only to find it really hard to control movement with a mouse and keyboard.

How is everyone else playing it? Are you using a joystick or a 360 controller? I'm just curious how everyone else is aiming where is seems like the slightest motion on the mouse will make the ship move way more than I want. Maybe I just need more practice or need to adjust sensitivities but I'm having a really hard time with the second fighting tutorial because aiming feels really hard.

Edit: Less mouse sensitivity and swapping A and D for rolls and switching X-axis on the mouse to yaw seemed to help a little bit. I may still want to get a wired 360 controller or something.
