Sorry if someone mentioned this already but seems they're sticking with Gamebryo..... bad for AMD I guess but good for modding.

I don't mind as long as the voice acting is as good as Obsidian's effort in New Vegas....

In reference to the ballistics (sorry, havent been on for a week or so):

I never played NV, but in FA3 it was incredibly annoying that bullets simply didnt go where they were aimed.

If in FA4 bullets at least go where they are pointed, a la Call of Duty, i will be happy. Still a bit disappointed, but happy.
What would make me happy? A full ballistic system with bullet drop, wind-age, breath holding and scope floating (you know, where the scope isnt steady), crouch and prone, etc. I'm not talking anything as sophisticated as Sniper Elite or Sniper: Ghost Warrior or Battlefield, but something along those lines would be nice.

Playing the silent/long-range killer in FA4 would be awesome.

I believe they are bracelets, maybe it's me but the ones in the center rows were brighter and all so the people from the company.

I enjoyed the presentation i think they did very well, as much as i am looking forward to the game and want it were not getting it as you know their be many DLC's to follow so may as well wait until that's shits out or else i would pick it up ASAP.

Same deal with other games to as i believe The Witcher will have DLC's so going to wait it out, only game worth buying will be JC3 which will have DLC's but they be sucky crap that i can missed.

Just had enough of DLC bull crap

Presentation was great, I just couldn't stop thinking about Kip Winger the whole time.
The 'customization' of the weapons was pretty cool, though I then cringed when they showed the power armor right afterwards. The level of customizing was nowhere near. It just looked like you were swapping in different skins/textures/shapes of the same base armor with no indication as to why you'd do it, other than visual fluff.
I also found the structure building to be a bit too click and drag as opposed to something from say EverQuest Next, which allows you to make your own shapes instead of building from prefab.

just because they didn't show it, doesnt mean each piece of armour doesnt have different stats. they just happened to show various types of power armour for the initial example.

the base building looked awesome to me despite how simple it was, because they did it from a controller - as someone who sucks at creative type games i find it great that its simple.

I have not found New Vegas very re-playable. I probably missed a lot but it got boring after 45 hours. I think most of that was the crashing like clockwork every 15 minutes, and so far nothing has been able to stop that.

all ultra settings, no AA, 2K texture mods - no crashes. some areas crashed for me, turning off AA has fixed it. i'm sure lowering another setting to turn AA back on would also work.

the DLC content added enough for me to replay it all.

I am on my second play-through of NV and it has not crashed even once. Modded FO2 and vanilla GOTY version of FO3 did sometimes though.

I have all the DLC. I'll probably try it again, and see how it runs/crashes sometime. It would be nice it it would run as good as Skyrim does nor me.

i run a solid 60FPS at all times, and i dont think i even hit 50% GPU usage (single 7970)

Customized armor would be like whether you use a set of spikes or chains melted into the cut in half tire carcass that's thrown over your shoulders as shoulder guards. And what they showed of the power armor, was just the texture and a few shapes being slapped onto the body.
They made a point of presenting the depth of the weapons, and yet chose not to continue that in a paralleled fashion with the armor? Either that's poor decision making, or it's not an in depth system.

4xAA added in quite a few crashes due to memory limits, but hey - the game was never designed for 1080p systems at ultra with 8xAA. that was a pipe dream when it came out, its awesome the game even has settings that go that high.

Fallout 4 oughta raise the bar even higher for whats possible, heres hoping for a 64 bit exe...

It's Bethsoft, I wouldn't be surprised if they make it 16-bit initially. Or make the 64-bit version a DLC.
