GPU-Z v0.8.4: System freezing on splashscreen

I'm using win 8.8 64bit

v0.8.3 working ok, so guessing it's a bug in latest version.

No OS Windows 8.8 exists, I assume you mean 8.1

If laptop, what brand/model/videocard(s)?

Same problem here, system freezes @start splash and short time later I got a Bluescreen. (that is reproducable)
Windows 7 64Bit, Geforce GTX 980 Ti, Nvidia Driver 353.30, desktop PC.

CPU-Z 8.3 working well.

issue is at least with latest 3 versions of nVidia WHQL drivers, now using 353.30

PC, Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti (GV-N560OC-1GI)

EDIT: I have a GeForce GTX 670 card on my 2ndary PC, and GPU-Z latest version works fine for me. OS: Windows 8.1 Pro, 64-bit.
