Need a file from Windows 7

Hi,

I'm getting this error when I start up the computer: Logon process initialization failure.
Can't go around this, not even system restore working and I don't want to reinstall windows.
Most likely the LogonUI.exe file is corrupted.
If someone could upload their LogonUI please
Its located where you installed windows, X:\Windows\System32

If this has not happened due to overclocking you might be looking at damaged blocks on the drive and all so might be faster to just reinstall.

Yeh the problem is that there are lots of files that I need. I can copy them but this would take so long. Trying everything first before copying the files.
And not, just a working laptop, happened all of the sudden.
I managed to do an error scan on the drive and there are no errors at all.
Tried sfc scan too but that won't start

Use Crystal disk info to check the drive

Then do a repair with a systems disk is the drive is good

for solving this u can also use a Ubuntu Live CD, copy your content to a USB drive, check your drive for failures, reinstall windows

Have you tried sfc /scannow? It is supposed to find and repair corrupted operating system files.

The disk is in good condition, it keeps trying to scan for errors because I keep forcing it to shutdown since there's no other way to do it.
It loads wndows then right before login screen I get that error message and won't let me do anything besides clicking ok which makes the error pop up again, the only way is to force shutdown .
I'm copying the files using the windows dvd to a usb drive.
I tried sfc scannow in the command line but it keeps telling me that is scheduled already and won't let me do anything. Probably becuase windows won't load so it is always scheduled.
Reparing doesn't work either.
I'll just get all the files that I need and then reformat.
