How to Limit download speed on WAP2000 Router?

Hey guys, I'm new to networking and I want to limit download speeds on my WAP2000. My parents own a motel and we get customers who torrent a lot and it causes us problems. I currently have 4 WAP2000 routers spread throughout the motel and I know that it is hard to completely get rid of torrents so instead I want to limit their download speeds. Will this have any effect?

I don't know how to do this, I went into the router settings but I cant find any settings to limit the speeds. I read about VLAN and QoS section but I don't have any idea on what I should put in there. I put a picture of what options I have on that page.

Thank you.

Definitly do VLANs!!! also have client isolation on ASAP! You don't want everyone looking at everyone's computers and also spreading malware!!!!

Also I would create policies on the router that block use of applications like torrents.

My Meraki Z1 can easily do that with application firewalls (layer 7) and I can have custom rate limits per application basis. If you have a decent firewall/router that can do that do so.

I then, on all my access points set SSIDs to have thier own VLANs.

I would have your own VLAN with no restrictions and then the Guests can have thier own VLAN with the restrictions. Then set each SSID to have the appropriate VLAN and you should be good to go.

If you replace the WAP's with the Ubiquiti UniFi AP's then these have the ability to configure client isolation and download/upload limits per client out of the box. Also for ~$100 an AP they aren't terribly expensive. These devices are pretty much designed for this exact implementation.

You can also configure captive guest portals and a few other very handy settings for guest networks.

For internet access the standard UAP would be more than sufficient:

Most other enterprise WAP vendors have more feature rich solutions, however the price of those options will likely be out of reach. Also they would be overkill.

The UniFi approach also gives you a nice portal to show metrics.
