HyperX FURY 8GB & Z97 pro gamer?

Hi everybody. I wanna know can I use Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB 1866MHz on ASUS Z97 pro gamer with STRIX 960 2G?
will it be fine? do them have the best result? do they match each other? and what about Performance? I wanna use them only for gaming. suggest me the best choice.

Yeah, ram is ram-- there should be no problems.

just make sure you set your ram to the right timings and voltage in your bios

Get 16GB lkit instead of 8GB kit, and yes it will fit in your motherboard, dont worry, kingston HyperX Fury is almost universal works with most of motherboards now days, {actually i havent seen a motherboard that had issues with that kit.}

This video has bios upon opening. YOu can see on the left it says "XMP". change yours to say the same, the rest don't worry about.

Press "f10" to save and exit, done.

It's not spectacular RAM,that's for sure.

Judging by the amazon reviews they don't seem much worse than most other kits. Reviews don't seem to point at anything particularly bad either.

Care to show me some of the threads/etc that have had problems?

I can't be stuffed looking them up again, but most pertained to the Ram not running at the stated speed and unusual readings in CPU-z.

Odd, because most reviews I skimmed through seemed to mention very good OC performance, often up to 2400 at C11, one of them hinted towards the reason for this being the single-sided nature of the modules.

OP said he will uses the machine for gaming, RAM speed makes very little difference there. The PRO-GAMER is basically a Z97-A with ROG audio and ROG software (it's very cheap in the EU, so it's a smart buy in my opinion, despite it has "gamer" in its name), so it will run and OC HyperX RAMS just fine, but again, RAM OC is not really needed for gaming.

I personally have a problem with them, i'm on the second kit and they are still up to their tricks

It's an Asus board like mine... that specific kit has given people problems... there are cheaper and better kits out there
