Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Plenty of people... search TPU, google.. etc.

I have a catleap, but same difference. What do you actually want to know? That would be helpful... :)

Decent monitors for the price, bit lacking in features but the panels are top notch (LG panels used in a lot of known brand 1440p monitors iirc) and a lot of people on here have/had them and will vouch for them, sure theres a dedicated thread if you go searching

I love my QNIX, had it overclocked to 110hz for over 2 years now, still runs great, no backlight bleeding, and ghosting tests show it has literally none, that little alien in space ship moving across the screen test is the one I refer too.

Enjoy, 23,000 posts... do not buy a QNIX TRUE10, buy the original evolution 2

i went on google all the reviews etc are from like 2012 and 2013.

thanks for the input from all so far.

mostly wondering about frequency of dead pixel panels. was thinking of getting a shimian for $170 from this ebay seller but he isnt guranteeing perfect pixel. but it is a used refurbished and seller claims they test before shipping out, but yet still has a disclaimer that the panel may have dead pixels.

Get one that has zero dead pixels... "pixel perfect" is what they state. Its the only way to 'guarantee' zero dead pixels. ;)

I have an Achieva Shimian that I got off eBay, straight from Korea, and other than one green stuck/dead pixel, it's a fantastic monitor. Very pretty and I don't regret the purchase.

However as @NdMk2o1o said, they certainly lack features. Mine only has a working power button; there are other buttons but they don't do anything. If you're cool with that, then nothing to worry about.

Additionally my monitor came with a Korean plug so I've been using an adapter to plug into the wall, think the adapter came with it.

understand. perfect pixel panels are $100 more tho on the average. might be worth that though.

No at all. I don't see or notice it for the vast majority of the time.

The only real time I notice it is when the background is very dark and blank. I use a blank black desktop screen so at desktop I can see it, yet it doesn't bother me. As soon as I open up something, it's gone. ;)

I have had this monitor for 3 weeks or so now. Its awesome! I have no complaints at all but I have not tried to OC it. I'm ok with 60Hz. Also I use a monitor arm, I will say the stand is terrible but I dont use it so its not an issue for me. Also this guy ships FAST! I got it all the way from SK in 3 days via DHL. Hope that helps.

That is a very nice deal even if it does have one dead pixel, its hard ot notice them at 1440p unless you really look anyway. Smart choice. Enjoy mate! 1440p is the sweet spot for PC gaming, I have tried 4k, 1080p of every size, etc... 1440p 27" just is so gorgeous and fluid it makes odl games even like dragon age origins look next gen without making everything so tiny you can't play it, ala 4k. :D

Civ 5 and other strategy games are AWESOME at 1440p. I think its the genre that benefits the most from the larger res!

P.S. you may want to consider the Wasabi Mango I posted. Its very nice and does not have phantom buttons. That sounds very odd to me.

Even the cheapest most often broken models of WalMart use LG or Phillips panels.

Awesome! I'm sure you will love it. You may want to look at 3rd party monitor stands though on Amazon or New Egg.

I was able to get a very nice Human Scale arm from work for free, they are like $400. But you should be able to get generic single monitor stand for like $50. Just do some searches.
