Hi guys new to here big hello

Hi guys big hello to you all been sent here by a friend of mine, sorry if this is in the wrong forum but i have a problem.
Having firefox problems keeps on saying firefox not responding, tried uninstalling reinstall cleared cookies reinstalled the flash player tried other browsers they are fine but i dont like them any ideas ?

I am running windows 10.

Welcome. Someone may pop in with an immediate response for you, but Windows 10 is still a bit of a shiny new right now, so troubleshooting erratic issues like this may take some time. As DK said, better forums would have been "General Software", not hardware

Are you talking about windows or firefox ? windows is from microsoft the release that we are all getting and firefox is the 1 you get from there site sorry im a bit of an oaf when it comes to this

First thing I'd try is turning off hardware acceleration:

Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

It's awful to run it that way, but it's only for eliminating possible reasons ... if it doesn't crashes with hw acceleration off, it's GPU driver issue.

If it crashes before setting can be changed, this command line argument can be used:

Code:

firefox -safe-mode

Press Win+R, type in "firefox -safe-mode" without quotes and press enter

I have tried it only had it like this for 10 mins seems fine so could be a gfx problem ?

You just need to install proper driver, Win10 is quite new. What's your graphics card?
