This is undoubtedly one of the most bizarre scenarios ever. It involves an ancient PC with an AMD Athlon II X2 B24 and 4GB RAM. My friends and are trying to give it a little boost without spending much money. This means we will not be upgrading the processor or motherboard. We just want to throw in a GPU. There are two choices: A new GTX 750, or a used GTX 590. Each fetch a similar price on ebay. My question is this: if we go for the 590, will the extreme bottlenecking issues negate its higher performance over the 750?
Thanks!
