Makes me cry for the $314.99 I paid for my Corsair 240GB almost 3 years ago. But it is what it is. Can't wait to see what future NVMe drives are going to cost.
i remember laughing out loud when seeing the prices friends, and others were paying for SSd's back when they were fresh to the market....and not even good SSd's either, my buddy got a Vortex, or tornado, cyclone or some garbage from OCZ, like $220- or more , and it was a 120Gb
.... i just couldnt justify the cost @ that time, i had the $$ but i KNEW id feel like a sucker if i spent my $ for it....kind of like how Id ASSUME apple customers feel....
I feel @ 00.40 cents/Gb(SSD) & 00.05 cents/Gb (HDD) is where i become a customer.
regarding the OP...I was looking @ these prices earlier, and felt they were too high.. I got my 850 Evo 500Gb for $150 off Amazon, and REALLY wanna get another ssd for my livingroom PC, but only need 250Gb...maybe my intuition was wrong on the "its a bad price" call.
**NewEgg must be giving better prices because they are not able to begin shipping for another 5 days, either stocks are low, or someone else has all the memory**
DAMMIT...now i Gotta buy one
