GTA IV was pretty good and GTA V is better so maybe this just isn't your kind of game? I don't know, but I'd totally recommend it. Besides we probably won't see GTA 6 for quite a few years yet.

It depends how you play. If you have buddies who play and can form a team. Then online would probably be fun for you.

None of my friends really play PC games so I have gone with single player and modding.

GTA 5 so is a great shell of a game. But end game it just insta dies unless u start adding mods

gTA sa had more side things to do than gtA 5 has

GTA 5 is most certainly up there in terms of the best GTA. It doesn't beat 3, SA, or VC in my opinion, but is on par with them in its own way. Certainly much better than 4 ever was.

dunno if its been covered, but i'd rather redundant post than risk it happening to another.... So i purchased GTA5 a month or so ago , and have been Loving playing , I dont have a LOT of time to do so, but when i get the time i enjoy it. I only play local mode, since online is dogshit. between the little kids, and professional losers who have nothing but time to play, i just cant stand it ,nor do i have time to deal with them. So i am very satisfied playing locally, and solo online (think ive run it twice). Recently i installed the native trainer for maximum enjoyment, and have been loving it. Well apparently somehow my settings for launch were changed from what they are normally which is landing screen on launch, or auto launch story mode, and was switched to auto launch online mode. Today i launched gta, and went for a smoke outside while it loaded up. when i got inside i noticed it had loaded online mode, so i backed out, and went on about my gaming locally as i always do. Wellllll... i logged into my email later this evening, and noticed an email from rockstar saying ive been banned for modding/hacking/glitching/ ruining the game for other players..blah, blah, blah.

My point is, be VERY careful if You run mods, because You dont need to cheat to get banned, all that is required is for You to either intentionally or accidentally load online mode, while ANY irregular files are installed in your directory, and Viola. Your banned. Please use caution. i have no issue buying another copy if I had to, I dont, but i could, but Im certain many wont have that ability. Also, its worth mentioning that the ban is ONLY from online play, and in my case is temporary, but outcomes vary.

Do you have Script Hook V installed? Its the main file for running ALL GTA 5 mods.... Straight from the read me file:

Multiplayer:
Script hook closes the game when player goes Online, this is done because

Btw... I only play single player.

Can you chuck a screenshot up of your map with everything turned on? I'd be surprised if the game is stuck, more likely you haven't done something which will trigger the next mission.

Try running the game in borderless window mode and then prtscn should work

Ok I went to FIB ,First no go , then I was driving forward and backwards and suddenly it triggers the mission !!!!!

LOL, if you ever want to trigger the mission the way it's meant to be triggered (TM) ... you were supposed to enter the building complex on foot, take the stairs and meet the guy on the terrace overlooking Los Santos

How do I record in GTA V manually until I press a stop button?
I found out it only records a minute or so after pressing L alt + F1 but it did not even save a video.

I just want to record manually with a start button and just stop when I want with a stop button, and it should be saved on disk ofcourse.

It should just Activate/Deactivate using the F1 key.

It wont save the entire recording in 1 file though, it starts new recordings after a certain amount of time/data is recorded.

You should see it saving the recording, then automatically continue to record.

And btw, you have to use Rockstar editor to view the playback, its not an actual recording you can play in any video software. (Just in case you werent aware)

Yeah I found the .clip files on my system, I switched to use shadowplay now.

Yeah thats what I use as well. Shadowplay is so nice. I never felt like figuring out the whole rockstar editor thing.

GTA V suddenly decided to set a lower and windowed resolution while I was playing, nothing bad since I could change it back as it was before but this never happened before. I have set some commandline parameters now in the file commandline.txt, -fullscreen -width 1920 -height 1080 hope it will not happen again.

Had anyone else this happening before?
