Dont much care for it. Don't know what it is. Its awesome getting to hear the sound effects all around, I don't know Hoth feels like a spam fest. I have not tried missions yet however. When in menus or at end of round scoring, my CPU usage goes to 100% and it gets choppy, perfectly fine in game. With around 45-50% CPU usage and what seems to be around 80FPS @1080P ultra. It does look amaizng, would love to see a map like endor and maybe better game modes?

Fired this money making atrocitie up & wow! I need HC matchmaking servers to make an analysis. I love the console controler graphic when I select key binding. Shit I wish my keyboard had the vibration option to enable.

It has single and Co-op in the beta I have only played the single player worked smooth as on my system love it already. My first try at single player I did 6 waves and killed 40 got 9 head shots not bad for a first run. Might have another go at it now...

Edit: LOL that mission was quick 13.33min 6 Waves 44 kills 16 head shots

Does it have a single player campaign? With regards to performance I got 60 fps with a single 290x on auto Ultra sets. Then I forced AFR to get crossfire working and got 99.9 fps synced at 100Hz with a resolution of 2560x1440p with auto Ultra sets.

Ran the SP survival campaign and ran FRAPS for 10 mins for benchmark. Average FPS was 93.4 (after removing menu FPS counters at 200fps). 1440p, all ultra. Made sure I was shooting everything and exploding as much as possible to get volumes of onscreen carnage.

EDIT: Ran FRAPS for 10 mins during Hoth Assault too and got 93.1 fps average. Quite content but the gameplay in the Hoth thing is a tad limited. Did manage to win a round as the rebels by using orbital bombardment to kill an AT-AT.

I played some last night and I like it for the most part. I hate the new method of leveling up to get any where... I don't have time to play 24/7 and the people that do.. well I get my butt handed to them.. I just want a level playing field.. lol The map is so so.. It looks good but you can tell they are holding it back for consoles.. The rocks and stuff look good, but they are the same all over the map.. I guess I just need to load BF3 and just play "Operation Métro"...

For those that haven't seen any benchmarks for it thus far:

Test system using 5960 at 4.4Ghz.

My set up with older slower, fewer core CPU (3930k @ 4.2Ghz) is way faster. A 1500Mhz 980ti is about 15% faster than the above.

I played it and it has a BF4 feel which is good. GFX are amazing and running everything maxed out on a 970 was easy and no frame drops.

Guru 3D couldn't get Crossfire working which is worrying. I notice WCCFTECH didn't run crossfire.

Unfortunately, Guru tested a 770 on the same 5960 CPU which is just silly.

I call online shooters "Rage Simulators". I have been playing them a little less lately.

Battlefront is OK. Trying to get in games with your friends it absolutely stupid. They need to fix the system. There is no way to join a game with a party, you need to join on your individual friends after they join a game. And if you're trying to join a game in which your friend's team is full? Forget it, you get put in queue, even if there is space available on the opposite team for you. Autobalancing is inactive currently, so teams can get stacked pretty unevenly.

Otherwise, I found the gameplay pretty good. Was celebrating like a little kid when I got a kill on Luke Skywalker in Hoth.

Ran it on Ultra without issue on my specs. (See them under system specs.) Didn't notice any slow down. Was it as smooth as BF4? Not quiet but, its still alpha so it should improve some with a good SLI profile.

Anyway the game itself is a lot of fun. I just don't know about the longevity of it PLUS 120 bucks for a game anymore is a bit to much sadly. I did that with BF4 and never saw the value. Only reason I had 200+ hours in it is because of the Nutz. Didn't play it much by myself.

If you are a Star Wars junkie and can afford it don't lie to yourself......buy it. If you like Star Wars but would rather pay less I suggest you wait for a price break (Me). Personally I would rather spend my money on Fallout 4.

For it runs super smooth on ultra (AA on low) and the game feels really fluid, but because there is so little content in the game and i feel like they could have made it a lot better then it is, i will not be buying it.

Well, I am proud to be part of the only rebel team that I've seen (along with others in the same game) to win a game of Walker Assault after the first set of uplinks where you get the first chance to take down the AT-ATs. We were able to take them both down at the same time. It was amazing!
