My biggest issue with Bethesda games is that they don't use the system cursor in the menus. I've had my fair share of bugs and whatnot, but that's the only problem that consistently screws with me.

It might be because I played fallout 3 in 2012 for the first time, and that most of the bugs were already fixed, but I never encountered any bugs in FO 3. Haven't played FNV yet. After FO3 I had to stop a little, that game was so addictive I played it about 13 hours a day.

This is how I approach most games, wait for the sale and buy them super cheap without all the launch bugs. But I do understand that early adopters get the shaft both in price and performance. The trouble is I have a hard time giving an F about it. Their loss is my gain, without them I'd be forced to play an unpatched game where many bugs have yet to be discovered. It's not my fault they want to pay money to be beta testers.

I played Skyrim from launch Nov 11th, 2011 until Jan 2012. you get a lot of game for only $45. Skyrim: Legendary Edition didn't come out unti June 2013 so you will be waiting a while besides you can't make an open world game like Fallout and not have it Fraked up

I won skyrim from one of Kreij's contests so I don't count that one. It's one of the few I had pretty close to release. The 20$ for legendary edition is the first I've paid myself towards that title. I got Oblivion mid 2007 for 15$ Sure the game might have been worth more but its not like I didn't have other titles to keep me busy until it went on sale.

The G was...ambiguous from my perspective. As far as being a grammar nazi, maybe more than a little. I'd like to hold myself to a higher standard, and not being able to communicate my thoughts because my fingers moved faster than my brain is frustrating to say the least.

I try not to hold others to that standard for the exact reason you've stated.

Didn't mean that you were a grammar nazi. I can't recall you ever correcting another member on grammar or putting down their post because of grammar errors. I've just noticed you say you edit your posts for grammar several times. I wouldn't worry about it on a tech site with members from all over the world posting with English as their second language. If some grammar nazi wants to come along and diminish the value of your post just because there are grammar errors then that is silly to me.

i replayed fallout 3, and mentioned it earlier in the thread. apart from turning water detail down (a true bug) and the dual-threading fix it ran perfectly fine, even with HD texture packs on top.
A total blast to replay it and new vegas in win 10 on hardware years beyond what the game devs ever imagined for those titles.

What you think about that we have to download Fallout 4 from Steam after installing with disc. Here are Pete Hines explanations:

"yes, though you will still have to download from Steam. The disc doesn't contain the entire game." Source

"PC requires activation on Steam. Console does not. Console ship on Blu-rays, PC ships on DVDs." Source

I've got to give Bethesda some credit for that. Their season pass is actually pretty reasonably priced, and they aren't pushing it in the same way EA is with Star Wars.

my main concern is gunna be what type of DLC we get, and what types arent included. not to mention if it takes 6 months to come out, why spend the money now?

Doesn't season pass mean all the DLCs included? and Fallout DLCs usually plenty enough

I doubt they will give more than 20-33% discount until about one year of release date.
Current 20% deal from GMG will be enough to 'cover' that. At least for me.

well look at the previous fallout games - not all the DLC was in every bundle, until eventually a re-release included it all in one. i pirated it for quite a while despite owning the base game, due to that.
