I installed 4x4GB Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 memory to the board and it only recognizes half of them. Does anybody know how to solve this issue? The support for Asus is lazy.

Asus board recognizes only half of my memory

Well have you tried pulling out the RAM sticks and putting them back in, trying different RAM slots, resetting the mobo, or anything like that? Because little changes can make a difference sometimes, you never know what's might solve a problem.

hi,
I had same issue months ago with my z77 lx board. in my case it was cpu pins broken. it was my fault but pins on cheap boards are really cheap and takes damage easily.
my board was only recognise 8gb if I put other ram to it, pc refused to start. there was some red light in board.
check very carefully if cpu pins are ok in motherboard. or wait maybe some experts have another idea.
sadly they refused guarantee in my case. I had to buy new board for it.

Look at mobo's manufacturer's website , it defenitly has a database for RAMs . Chances are you will read (2 sticks compatible). Very common event. If they say four sticks are compatible with the mobo , then try each ram one by one and see which one is defective (i doubt this is the case).

i had that case with a 4x4gb 2666mhz DDR4 kit (HyperX Fury) that was only 2 sticks compatible, so i replaced (well my retailer replaced it ) with another kit that was 4 sticks compatible (HyperX Predator)
lesson learned: never trust my retailer when he say "no worries it's generic, it will work" and read the reference on Memory QVL on the manufacturer website 1st

Yep this actually happened to me too , you're lucky they exchanged it ! Very lucky , i had to sell my sticks on a website -_-

Definitely need system specs on OP. CPU and motherboard would be very helpful in answering this, or at least having a starting point.
