So i thought i would kick off and Assassins Creed Syndicate thread. Couldn't seem to find one.
What are everyones thoughts on the game? I have personally really enjoyed it. I got it for ps4 when it came out and have finished the main story now going through doing collectables.

Syndicate takes big step from Unity apparently. It makes heaps of changes. I myself skipped unity though.

I have always been the series fan and I MO it the best series I've played. I really enjoy the story and the game play. The graphics have been awesome in every game. 2,3 and black flag are among my favs. Another games I suggest you look at is far cry and max Payne 3

Yea I am a big far cry fan as well. Same with skyrim and fallout. I love the open world games.
Assassins creed has definitely done well. Black flag and syndicate have to be my 2 favourites I think.

Syndicate just released so it's very expensive so I'll buy it in 3 months. Far cry 4 i cant run on my pc. Same with fallout. Skyrim is meh i dont really like it. Waiting for tom raider to come to pc it looks great.

Currently I am building a gaming rig. I can't decide on which gpu to n buy , the gtx 970 which vcomes with a free game or the r9 390. Both have pros n cons

I'm glad you started this! I normally do not like AC games, although I liked Liberation HD and Black Flag, but am actually excited about this one! I actually pre-ordered it. I think the whole concept as I understand it from the story line is very intriguing, and look forward to playing in grimy, industrial revolution era 1890's(? or thereabouts) version of my favorite city!

Totally agree with you. This one was GOOD! I actually just finished it last night. 100% game completion!!

All the reviews I have read have been great...basically a huge breath of fresh air and new life in the series, and so on.

So, I've been waiting for the PC release, which is Thursday!

Yea well i would normally go pc but i got in on ps4 this time. and i love it! Its a great game all round

After i meet Alexander Graham Bell at Mission 4: Freedom all my dialogue audio has gone missing, anyone know what i can do?

I have tried reinstalling the game but that doesn't fix it.

I am using my Asus ThunderFX sound card and so far this is the only game I have had sound issues in.

It's the same with the onboard Realtek ALC1150 or the SupremeFX 2015 as Asus calls it.

Performance wise it actually runs fine on my poor R9 270X at 1200p with high details. and the game itself is more fun than unity , and a lot less buggy as well.

I read that some says it's related to hardware acceleration on the audio card but I can't find that setting on on-board or my ThunderFX.

If u look at it's memory usage u should see why, i use custom settings otherwise i will have to upgrade to a GTX 980 Ti or Titan X bcs it can use over 4096mb that's available on the GTX 970 or GTX 980.

Got the game from "Bullets or Blades", still downloading but I'm curious so when the button Play lit I just give it a go.
I run the game at High with FXAA and SSAO, the game says that it (can or will) use 2761 MB (and I still use my 2 GB GTX 770) but it run smoothly so far (in the beginning of the game).

EDIT : I played until the first time you can control Evie and so far everything is good. Gameplay is good (I didn't play Unity or Black Flag, though), but I find it strange and funny when you kill your enemies or guard, only a small number of people (civilian) around you will run or scream, the other will just get on with their lives like nothing happened.
Visually the game is great and not too demanding since my 770 can run it smoothly (50-60 FPS) with above settings.

Yes, you're right. Whether you choose ACS or R6:Siege, the game will only activate on Uplay.

I think you're better off with just the Uplay version. When I use just Uplay, no problems. Everytime I see people complain about Uplay it's usually because they are trying to do Uplay through Steam.

My motto is stick to whatever game platform the games are native to, and that has served me well.
