AMD software Crimson, custom resolution?

Sooo I went and checked out this feature, went to this screen:

AMD gave me several "nope that does not work" results but some worked, like for example
1920x1080@75hz instead of the more common 60hz.

Sooo yeah thats now in there and under properties it now says that the max is indeed 1920x1080 @ 75hz.
But how can I now go about to actually setting the monitor to that?
In windows it still says the max option is 60hz and in a game like for example far cry 2 it says the same thing, 60hz at max.

How can I get this 75hz to work?

Run a game you get more than 75 fps on and put on vsync... see if it drops to 60 or 75

Well again, windows reports that my resolution is still at 60hz and no game gives me the option to go beyond 60hz.
Im just not running it beyond 60hz.
Its as if the Radeon Software just tells me what could be possible, but then never gives me the option to try to run anything on that.

That said, ran L4D2 just now, you cannot set the actual Hz rate so just 1920x1080 and yep the max is 60hz/fps.

Right figured it out, it was the GPU Scaling option, with that turned on the software told me I go to 75Hz and beyond, with it turned off I could not get passed 60hz.

I guess its sorta what the gpu can do vs what the actual monitor can do.
Oh well, guess ill be stuck on 60hz a while longer.
