Hi all,
Could you advise me some effective (with good noise/performance ratio) 120mm system fans? Now I have 5 Cooler Master Silencio FP 120 3-pin, so I would like to buy 5 another fans, which have better performance, but they don't louder.
As additional information my case is: Cooler Master Silencio 652S
Thank you!

Which concrete type?

S12 if you want quiet, F12 if you want power. I have 3 F12s and they're not as loud as the spec sheet says they are. That is if you have the proper PWM headers to keep them under control.

I'd go for the EK Vardars if they're cheaper. F3 or F4. They're based on Gentle Typhoons, as I think has been mentioned before. If you don't know what GTs are, they are arguably the only fans that have attained near-mythical status because of the period of time during which there were no more being manufactured. Now EK has GT-based fans, and I think? Nidec is resuming production of the GTs after Scythe quit.

I was gonna write a brand and model name nobody knows like most of the above mentioned are to me. Well i am not in the market since years as fans do survive several builds.
If you are not overclocking a nuclear plant or not running fans at full speed, but running them autocontrolled by the bios (so mostly a lower speeds)... I would buy any decent ones you like pricewise and lookswise. Avoid "leds" and "transparent cristal-like" fans.
I have 3 Corsair fans, cant remember model, they are nice and silent when not benchmarking. Check your mobo fan pins and read the manual for any operating limitations, and if they are all (or not all) voltage or PWR controlled, and buy 3 pin or 4 pin fans accordingly.

Phanteks.. Some of the best fans on the market. Better than Noctua. Theres also a company doing a Gentle Typhoon reboot IIRC. Either or would be your best bet

artic cooling do a nice range.. i have compared them with more expensive vartar fans and to be honest couldnt tell any difference.. in the end you make a choice.. relatively quiet 1200-ish fans or noisy 2000-ish fans.. the faster they spin the more air they shift and the more noise they make.. :)

there is nothing magic about any of them.. some just cost more than others.. dont get me wrong i fell for the "magic" and replaced my artic cpu cooler fans with vartar fans.. all it told me was that the artic ones are just as good.. sometimes you have to spend the money to find out.. he he

Throw an eye at Noiseblocker BlackSilentPro. Really good fans that also look great. Haven't had the chance to test their Bionic models, but I hear great things about them. Too bad they don't also come in 140mm size, just 120mm...
