So yeah... I'm going to upgrade soon so what should I choose? Taking price out of the equation:

-2x1GB PC6400 OCZ Gold
-Another X1950PRO for Crossfire ))
-Sell my X1950PRO and buy an 8800GTS.

Man what a tough choice.I say,...No good DX10 games for another year and you will never do SLI on that MB,..so the GTS is out.
Now,..2 gigs of ram vs Crossfire x1950 hmmmmm.I would go Crossfire and buy another gig if possible.

mem in my opinon, xfire is nice, but it'd leave you on that platform for a while longer, when a decent dx10 card will only continue to drop in price as the market gets more saturated with them.

mem now, dx10 gpu later this year if possible.

I vote for memory upgrade now, stick with your one x1950pro for now, it should suffice fine until you can afford to upgrade later on. I'd say wait until ATI unleases more of the HD series to see if a 2900pro may be the way to go, or of going with an XT or XTX (Is that what they're gonna call it?). I'm not a big supporter of multiple vid cards, as just like back when SLI was originally introduced, technology showed that one card can and still can beat two, generally for the same price or sometimes cheaper. I think if you wait and see what other products Nvidia and ATI will be releasing, it should be worth it, as prices of current products should drop and a better bang for the buck may arise.

I'd say get the RAM too. Crossfire is pretty much a waste as you only get about a 30% performance increace. By the time you are ready to upgrade again, the 8800GTS 320MB will be cheaper.

I wouldnt get ocz gold ram though, I have a pair they dont oc very good.. well maker thier newer rev's do I got rev.1.. your 667 ram has tighter timings than they can do.

rams cheap atm get a nice set of ddr2 find/wait for a sale... I seen some ocz 8500 reapers for 149$ Canadian after rebate.. so they would be even cheaper in the States/USA.

I would go for more RAM first, then maybe save up for a DX10 GPU later on. Your X1950 Pro is fine for now as I can see you only have a 17" Monitor, so I assume 1280x1024 and lower are the resolutions you play at.

I strongly suggest a memory upgrade. It'll mean all the difference in the world, and you'll definately notice. Then if you have enough money, I'd grab another x1950 and crossfire those babies.

I had no problems with one stick of ram running at 1150Mhz. It ran BF2 like I had 2 gigs LOL. I had to run it that way becuase I never RMAed it the one dead stick LOL. But now that stick is dead to so I have to now.

my vote is for the ram. As things stand now, even my system (with a GTX) cant run DX10 games - lost planet, Company of heroes - they all run like shit.

You're best off with getting good ram now, and waiting for the next refresh of DX10 hardware.

To be honest, I'd say get 2x 1GB OCZ RAM cause your card will still perform really nicely in games on it's own so yeah, RAM.
