You will find far far better options because i7-7800X will be very hard to sold in planned numbers.
Intel customers want to compete to AMD Ryzen 7 if need to pay 400-500$.

i7-7820X have pottential to be best option with 44 PCI-E lanes and could bring a lot of money to Intel.
But they cut him PCI-E lanes without any logic reason, to force people to pay 1000$.
For me is still most attractive CPU and my voice go for him or in some cases for i7-8700K.
