ASUS x1600pro 256 mb FAN SPEED help !

Hi, please help mee some one :)

I have ASUS x1600pro Video on PCI x-press 256 mb

my cooler on video have very high noise level :( and i cant find how to mod my VGA (video) Fan speed, i think it is posible... but FAN SPEED dont show mee thermal or fan settings, Catalyst drivers also shov 0 temp ;( but there is some way how to reduse fan speed on my X1600 ?

please halp mee ;)

You could use ATI Tool, if deciding to OC, make sure to select "Use Driver Level OC", you can adjust fan speeds to a few different variables. Go to the download section in this site and you will find it. I recommend ATI Tool .27 b2 or b1. Hope that helps! :toast:

It should read your temps, etc. Some cards didn't come with temp sensors, you may look into that with your card and verify it did.

nope did not work no FAN settings :(
i need just get my fan lower RPM

i start to belive there is no TEMP sensor and FAN voltage controler on my Video Card ;(

help ! :(

if you don´t get any temperature readings from catalyst/ATITool it´s very likely that there´s no sensor chip present on your card --> no way to control the fan speed in software... :(

.... or get a nice aftermarket cooler? on that video card even passive cooling should be possible (depending on your case + airflow tho´)

--> AC Accelero S2 ftw !!
