Low score with x850xtpe..?

Score is 10077 in 3dmark03.. Here are my specs..

A64 3000+ Winnie @ 2.3 288 x 8 1.5v 37c/42c

Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939 with newest bios.. f12

Patriot pc3200 2x512MB RAM @2.5-3-3-9 2T 150:200 Feq at 209 2.7v

ATI x850pro/ x850xtpe bios with all 16 piplines and running at 555/605 55c/80c

Antec 500w psu

Winxp with sp2.. lol, not even running explorer.exe during tests.. I just think my score should be higher.. I'm only avg'n 249fps in Wings of Fury.. I see 6600gt's with a 350+ avg.. any help would be nice..

Uninstall/reinstall 3dmark... I once had a simular problem with a low score, so I just reinstalled it.

Is your computer overheating? I guess a better question is do you have good cooling?

I would think, ambiant at load is 48c.. my card runs a little hotter, but I heard that is normal for x850's.. my proc runs at 37c/42c.. nothing extremely warm.. have stock cooling on my card right now, but I have a 120mm antec fan blowing on it.. I just dont know..

try turnign some services off/ disable firewall/anti virus will help. i get 13.4k in 3d03 with x800xtpe 570/625 33/58

Yeah don't worry about it. It's only one benchie, get like 3dmark05 instead, other wise you will drive yourself nuts with it. When I got my new cpu/board, my 3dmark03 only went up 500 points, that was a $800cnd upgrade too. But then I ran some game benchies like Q3, and got over a 100fps more and other things are way faster too. 10K isn't bad, but it should be higher for what you have, well I think it should. Try 05 and see what you get.
