halo problem too slow

hi i installed this game , and it run in my pc like a crap

i have p4 3.6 1giga of ram , x800 pci-e and the last omega

does somebody notice the same problem?

Halo has caused problems for many....AA (anti aliasing) does NOT work for this game & if u have it enabled in D3d (Halo uses d3d not Open GL) settings it will slow down your system.

There may be a patch out by now correcting the problem, I haven't played Halo in over a year.

Anytime u wanna adjust vid card settings:

Right click on desktop, Properties/Settings/Advanced:

In here u can adjust whatever u want.

I just installed the game, put AA @ application preference.....It runs like a dream here & looks pretty good too. No updates or patches on it either.

If changing vid card settings doesn't improve the gameplay for you I'd UNINSTALL the game and then REINSTALL it.

i use these setting but it's poor in performance

I set AA to app pref
AF to 16x AF
vsynch ON
1280 x 1024
all ingame detail set to HIGH

runs good here with these settings.

btw, I used EXPRESS INSTALL & the game installed in less then 90 seconds!
