The benefits of this program will apply to US and Canadian users who purchase their ASUS notebook computers on or after Sept. 10, 2007.

ASUS is strongly aware that the best way to gain the confidence of customers is to constantly challenge itself. Enhancing high quality assurance and customer trust has always been ASUS' foremost goals. To notebook users, accidents are unavoidable, and the costs associated with them can add up. The company therefore guarantees that if their ASUS notebooks are damaged by drops, spills, fire, or electrical surges, the notebooks will be covered. The company also offers its customers the convenience of assistance 24/7 technical support.

This is a nice little move by Asus. While Dell and others that offer such warranties charge for them, Asus is giving away at least a year free. That is top notch right there.

This is a great way to get people to register their products quickly since you only get it if you register within 60 days of purchase.

Well worth the 5 minutes it takes to register though and a good move by ASUS.
