pm shadowflare and have him unlock the pipes in your bios then use the moded flasrom to flash the bios back to the card

well, i just bought my sapphire x800gto, and i have been playing a lot with clocks, actually i did 5800 3dmark05, but i want the pipes.... is there eany way?

here a screenshot from atitool and my code, if any1 could tell me anyway to unlock the pipes please it would be great...

Sapphire GTO2 X800

I tried the mod but see no difference..?

you still have a pipe locked in your bios you probibly used the non moded flashrom you need the moded one

Not all necessarily have to be 3 digits; just most of the ones I had seen were.

well you may have 4 pipes unlockable but it can't tell the only way to find out is to try and unlock them

pm shadowflare and he can help you unlock your bios to 16 pipes and that may or may not unlock 4 more pipes

(use moded flashrom to flash)

well looks like you need to do the same thing aswell to find out if you have a chance of 12 pipes

give shadowflare a ring (pm) he is pretty good with unlocking the pipes in the bios

lets just hope that they are also unlocked on the card aswell

i readed the threat completely but i am confused by all those numbers :eek:

maybe there is an table for it wich explain in dummy language if its modable or not.

How many pipelines do you have right now? Whatever you have, it's not likely you are going to be able to get more by flashing the bios, according to the info in that screenshot.

currently my powercolor x800pro has 12 pipelines
but after reading this article i am hopefull it still might succeed

If you really have R423 probably you can have max. 12 pipes. Your BIOS shows that 2 quads are blocked at present. You have to remove the cooler and to see whether you have laser cut on the right. If yes connect it and flash modded BIOS with 12 (or 16) pipes using modified flashrom. If you have R480 probably you will remain with 8 pipes.

hi again, i have a x800gto sapphire, and i have the chance to change it for a powercolor GTO... well whats the deiference? would i be able to get the 4 pipes? anda i readed the powercolor gto has the r423 core, 0.11m versus 0.13m of the sapphire... that could be like 20º (celcius) gained...

msi x800se

Hi
just flashed my card msi rx800se with a x800pro bios and with a x800se modded bios to 16p, but afther those flashes my card still working on 8 pipes.... but i have oc my card using rivatuner and my score on 3dmark05 was somthing like 4500.... that's sounds good. Without oc my card scores 3500 in 3dmark 05... so i will mod my original bios to 530/500

thanks to pple on this cool forum for your hard work and if anyone find somthing to unlock this card that will be fgreat to know.
