EK, the leading computer cooling solutions provider, is now offering an enterprise-grade GPU water block for NVIDIA GeForce RTX A5000 graphics cards. This new water block incorporates a CNC-machined nickel-plated copper base with a laser-cut stainless-steel top for a robust metal cooling solution, effectively making it a single-slot assembly. EK-Pro GPU WB RTX A5000 - Nickel + Inox water block is purpose-designed for the RTX A5000 graphics cards. This water block cools the GPU, VRAM, and VRM (voltage regulation module) as the cooling liquid is channeled directly over these critical areas.

This liquid cooling solution uses an Open Split-Flow cooling engine design that proved to be a superior solution for GPU water blocks. It is characterized by low hydraulic flow restriction, which means it can be used with weaker water pumps or pumps running on low-speed settings and still achieve top performance. The decreased coolant flow requirement makes it an ideal solution for multi-GPU workstations. The jet plate and fin structure geometry have been optimized to provide balanced flow distribution with minimal losses and optimal performances even when used in reversed water flow scenarios.

The base of the block is CNC machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is laser-cut out of industry-grade stainless steel. The top plate features a screw-in PCIe power connector bracket to securely hold the power connector once fully assembled. High-quality EPDM O-Rings ensure the sealing. The brass standoffs come pre-installed, allowing for a safe and easy installation procedure.

The I/O plate is integrated with the water block top itself, providing extra stability and protection to the graphics card. This means the block replaces the stock I/O shield and adds more sturdiness to the whole assembly. The integrated single-slot I/O plate is also quite beneficial for more compact workstations and server environments where space and PCIe slot spacing is at a premium. This design enables the card to only consume a single PCIe x16 slot it occupies, leaving its surrounding slots available for other add-in cards.

The aesthetic retention backplate improves the GPU's looks and structural rigidity while providing passive cooling to the backside of the PCB VRM area. The entire water block and GPU assembly are fully compatible with the NVIDIA NVLink connector, thanks to the water block top and backplate cutouts.

This version of the EK-Pro A5000 GPU water block features a POM machined 45° angled terminal block with two G1/4" ports, allowing easy integration with EK-Pro QDC kits and manifolds for high compute density applications. Additionally, the water block is equipped with a side-mounted standoff for GPU brace applications, ensuring secure GPU mounting during transport and movement of the chassis.

We recommend you refer to the EK Cooling Configurator for a precise compatibility match. Our team checks compatible graphics cards and adds them to the database daily.

Card is old, moreover it's mostly OEM product, these are also seldomly available for purchase outside of branded workstations (HP Z4, Z6 and above).
Who is your target audience again EK? Fix your cracking acrylic and rusty screws FFS!

I am not sure why EK does not have more pro-style GPU coolers for the consummer cards. My main attention is to use the professional card. Now allows me to use my individual PCI lanes. I had the dual 3090 and those cards with EKWB watercoolers take up 3 PCI slots per card. Now I am taking up 6 of the 7 PCI slots. Personally, I was kind of pissed and annoyed. The only thing that took me out of that was researching watercoolers for single PCI slots and noticing, I backed up to get a professional GPU, and a professional watercooler. I now have all of my PCI slots, and if I need to, I can get more cards, and keep my system open for any future building.

Also, I prefer the GPU coolers with the inputs and outputs on the back of the card, not the top.

I have a main profession card for my work. I am considering some of the A5000 cards for production, rendering and etc. While I use my main card for working.

Also, right now, I have no issue with getting my GPU from ebay. You can get the A5000 for almost a little bit of nothing these days. As long as you have the power.
