Due to the great demand for the HEATKILLER RAD radiators in 140 mm format, the German manufacturer WATERCOOL has decided to now also produce the popular heat-exchangers in sizes 280 mm and 420 mm with a thickness of 30 mm (Slim). Thereby WATERCOOL keeps true to its line while maintaining high quality standards.

In cooperation with a well-known manufacturer from Far East, the watercooling experts have succeeded in creating a high-performance mesh radiator with a unique look. Thereby, the cooling cores are manufactured strictly according to Watercool's specifications, while the radiator housing is produced locally in Waren. This means that the finishing and quality control are performed in Germany directly by the manufacturer.

High cooling capacities over the entire speed range
The goal of the development was to produce competitive radiators with a wide performance range. Accordingly, the HEATKILLER RAD performs very well even with slowly rotating fans, and scales very well with increasing speed.

The best raw materials in use
Only high quality raw materials are used as basis for the HEATKILLER RAD. The antechamber is made of brass while the cooling fins as well as the water channels are made of copper. The side panels are laser-cut from 1 mm thick steel plates or stainless steel and subsequently brushed or powder-coated in black or white, depending on the finish.

The front sides are made of brushed stainless steel and significantly contribute to the exclusive look of the HEATKILLER RAD. At first glance, the small HEATKILLER radiators definitely remind of the world-famous MORA3 monster radiator.

The HEATKILLER RAD series in 140 mm format is immediately available at a price of €49.95 to €119.95 in the colors, black, white and brushed stainless steel and will soon be available in selected retailers.

Watercool is easily my favorite qatercooling brand, their Heatkiller line is the best looking on the market.....and bonus point for simply not being EK.

According to tech power-up. They are some great coolers. I just learned the hard way the EK cooler's ratings are based on high-speed fans.

I want to see if the 360 version will fit in my new case, but I need to verify the space.

420x30mm, too thin for me. I'll wait to see what their thick rads review like.

Really? Too thin?

The performance difference between EK S (30mm), P (44mm) and X (58mm) radiators is negligible (unless You use a high speed fan, but that nullifies the advantage of LC over AC). The only reason for going for a thiccer boi is lesser flow restriction, however You'd have to put multiple radiators in a single loop to choke a D5 pump.

I'm considering dumping my EK 45 and 60mm rads and going for some 30mm ones. Going by the chart it will not hurt my temps at all.

I love the idea of now having separate frames that could be taken off and painted (if not already offered with pre-colored framing), although that was first done by some Chinese brands (Barrowch, IIRC). I just wish the fan mounts also had integrated screw stops to prevent accidental piercing of the radiator, the way Hardware Labs does with their rads.
