We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated sequel to the revolutionary Model I mouse: the Model I 2 Wireless. This second generation mouse maintains the same beloved shape and feather lightweight as its predecessor, but features a world of enhancements when it comes to comfort, performance, and customization.

We'll take a deep dive into the Model I 2's vast arsenal of cutting-edge features, and exactly how the second generation gaming mouse has improved. Get ready to experience the most comfortable ergonomic gaming mouse packed with next-gen technology yet still boasts an incredibly lightweight. With nine programmable buttons, customizable side controls, and a whole host of game-enhancing features, the Model I 2 is a highly versatile multi-genre mouse, ideal for Battle Royale, MOBA, MMO, and FPS gamers.

10 REASONS WHY MODEL I 2 WIRELESS IS THE MOST COMFOTABLE ERGONOMIC GAMING MOUSE:

1. UNRIVALED ERGONOMIC COMFORT
One of the standout features of the Model I 2 Wireless is its exceptional comfort. With its super lightweight design, contoured ergonomic shape, and dedicated thumb rest, this mouse ensures effortless movements, reduced hand strain, and quick and easy clicks. It's engineered to provide the utmost comfort for extended gaming sessions across multiple genres.

2. FEATURE-RICH YET ULTRALIGHT WEIGHT
As we'll cover more in detail in the following bullets, the Model I 2 Wireless boasts a whole host of cutting-edge technology, from its enhanced sensor and battery to its 9 buttons. However, despite its feature-rich design, it only weights 75 grams. Other competing gaming mice in its class weigh anywhere from 100 to 130 grams. That's quite the difference.

3. NINE PROGRAMMABLE BUTTONS
The nine programmable buttons on the Model I 2 open up a world of possibilities. Set custom keybinds and macros to elevate your gameplay and gain a competitive edge. With the easy-to-use Glorious CORE software, you are able to quickly assign your most-used actions to any of its 9 buttons. What's more, you can even configure 2 layers of button functions, allowing you to have up to 16 keybinds! More on that later (bullet 6).

4. SWAPPABLE BUTTON SHAPES
Additionally, two of the buttons are magnetic, and the mouse comes with seven alternate button shapes that are swappable. This allows you to choose the button configuration that is most comfortable for your hand, ensuring a personalized gaming experience. The necessary tools are included with the mouse.

5. GAME-ENHANCING FEATURE 1: DPI LOCK FEATURE
By default, the Model I 2 Wireless comes with DPI Lock assigned to the Action Button. When pressed and held, it instantly drops the mouse's sensitivity (DPI) for more precise aiming, then reverts it back to normal when released. This is ideal in FPS or MOBA games where sometimes you need a moment of extra-precise aiming, but you quickly want to go back to your typical sensitivity (DPI setting).

6. GAME-ENHANCING FEATURE 2: LAYER SHIFT
Alternatively, you can assign Layer Shift to the Action Button via Glorious CORE. This allows you to toggle between two layers of button functions (up to 16 total). Once assigned, you can access the second layer by holding the Action Button and pressing the desired key. Similar to the Function (Fn) key on a keyboard, releasing the button returns the mouse's buttons to their primary function. This provides even more customization options and quick access to a much wider range of commands.

7. THREE CONNECTIVITY MODES
The Model I 2 Wireless offers three modes of connectivity: Performance Mode (2.4 GHz wireless), which allows for up to 110 hours of battery life, Efficiency Mode (Bluetooth 5.2 LE) for 210 hours, and Wired Mode, so you can play while charging. Experience lag-free wireless gameplay, extended battery life, or the convenience of playing while charging. Switch effortlessly between modes based on your preferences and gaming needs. Note: the battery life listed above was measured with RGB turned off.

8. NEXT-GEN SENSOR WITH MOTION SYNC TECHNOLOGY
At the heart of the Model I 2 lies a state-of-the-art, custom sensor. The BAMF 2.0 26K sensor delivers pixel-perfect tracking, exceptional performance, and optimized power efficiency. With 650 IPS tracking, 50G acceleration, and up to 26,000 DPI resolution, you can expect 1:1 accuracy while gaming. The all-new Motion Sync technology ensures perfectly synced mouse and cursor movements for unmatched gaming precision.

9. ENHANCED AND LONG-LASTING BATTERY LIFE
Battery life is a crucial aspect of any wireless gaming mouse, and the Model I 2 excels in this area. Enjoy up to 210 hours of use on a single charge when playing in Bluetooth Mode with RGB off. When compared to the first generation of wireless mice at Glorious (example: Model O Wireless with up to 71 hours of battery life), the Model I 2 Wireless can last TWICE as long.

10. CUSTOMIZABLE RGB
While this is not a new feature to the Model I 2 Wireless - it's still awesome. You can customize its brightness, effects, color scheme - or turn it off all together. You can make simple adjustments or turn the RGB lighting off with the following button combinations:
  • Lighting Effects: Middle + DPI(+) + Button 4 (Home)
  • Adjust Brightness: Middle + DPI(+) + Right
  • Adjust Speed: Middle + DPI(+) + Button 5 (Forward)
  • Change Color: Middle + DPI(+) + Left

For more advanced RGB customization settings, simply go to the LIGHTING tab in the Glorious CORE software and adjust to your preference.

THE BOTTOM LINE
The Model I 2 Wireless is a game-changer in the world of gaming mice. With its unrivaled comfort, customization options, game-enhancing features, and impressive battery life, it's the perfect companion for gamers across genres. Whether you're a competitive MOBA/RTS player, a fast-paced shooter enthusiast, or a marathon streamer, the Model I 2 will elevate your gaming experience to new heights. Try it out and discover the difference for yourself.

I would of thought it's to help to stop a faulty\bad connection over time. And most likely to make sure you only buy their cables if you ever need to replace it.

The holes aren't that big of dirt grabber. How disgusting are you guys? Lol

I've had a mouse from them for a good while, no problems. If you really just get a buncha crap in there its prob just as easy to just shoot it with some air.

The usb c is shaped like that so it stays secure and doesn't bend the port on the mouse, something that used to always happen to me with plug in controllers, especially just the regular Xbox one, the connecting end hangs from gravity and over time they just lose connection.

Glad to see they still use the parachord for the wireless mice.

I can't seem to tell if this I2 made shape is more like the O or D. I was really hoping for D shape but it looks like O shape.

Well, on the 157x MX Masters, the oldest of which have been in service at my office for over 4 years, I have NEVA seen any evidence of this....granted it's the older connector type (mini/micro USB ?) but just sayin :D

Yeah that’s one of my complaints with my model o. Like out of 20 some usb c cables I own none of them work cause they are too thick or just don’t line up with the plug on the mouse . They couldn’t just stick with a conventional usb c plug and it’s not like it even matters since being wireless I almost never use it plugged it only very rarely when I forget to charge it overnight or something .

That's a more robust connection in my experience. It's usually the game controllers that go bad. The cable hangs down when you hold the controller and it just stresses it over time and goes bad.

I like the recessed cables because let's say it's on your mouse, it should be fine since it's not hanging and pulling causing stress but you might set something on your desk and bump your mouse and bend the port if it's not recessed or just a low DPI user who flings their mouse all over and stresses it over time, that's what these are good for. What'd be nice if there was a universal agreement on how to shape recessed ports and cables.

Same except those couple times when I forget to charge it and then have to use it plugged in :) . I wish they would release a dock of some sort so I won’t have to remember to plug in the cable .

They're not new to the market and some of their previous wireless mouses had some lattency and connection problems.

I got a Glorius Model 0, and after about 1 year it had problems with the left click. Only mouse that ever did this to me. Went back to the G502 from Logitech and its been working great for over 4 years now.

Yea, I would like to have a dock too, but that would of course increase the prices a good bit...AND take up another USB or AC120v port :D
