I enjoyed the cartoon as a younger person.....didn't even know they made a game. I don't see what kind of appeal this remake is supposed to have. Were there that many followers of Gargoyles for this to be a cost effective reason to remaster/remake the game?

Kinda lost all it's dark gritty charm. I think a pixel version would have sold better. Some new combat features would also have been great, this just looks dated.

LOL. Well, I guess VHS tapes are hard to get nowadays. Don't think they are produced anymore, like Vinyl.

Dude, this is a remake of a Mega Drive game, you can play it like that in an emulator xD

There are a lot of gems from Disney from the 4th console gen that have been unavailable for decades, like Aladdin, Lion King, Quackshot, Mickey Mania and more. This is a great game and it deserves the deluxe treatment.

Mega Drive Aladdin, not the scabby SNES one.

Even so the SNES one was very beautiful, imagine if the Mega Drive had the same color palettes as the SNES.

I've got it for the SEGA Master System II. Was quite a good game, but my fav's where the Alex Kidd, Ghouls'n Ghosts (pretty hard one), Wonder Boy & Sonic games. Also interesting how critics rated the 273 Master System games, lol.

Wonderboy III The Dragon's Trap is simply amazing. I have extremely fond memories of playing it with my Mum (RIP) and as such the game now turns me into a wreck.

My other favourites were Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Chase H.Q., Power Strike and being a BMXer to this day, California Games.

If you haven't got the remade Wonderboy III on Steam, it is simply beautiful and aurally breath taking.

Those top 50 things get me angry. Until I see Wonderboy III...

Thinking about it, Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion was also really good.

If you mean "Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap" then yea, I got that one already on my wishlist. There is also "Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom" which looks quite similar, got even better ratings.

And yea, "Castle of Illusion" is just a must buy. The "Disney Classic Games Collection", too. And "Disney's Hercules".
