Hmmm...
How can the 4060 have an msrp of 249 when the slower worse product that called rx 7600 has an msrp of 270? It doesnt make sense

So you mean weaker cards can't be more expensive than the stronger one in it's own league? Not the way how it works.

They price their products to match their goals for revenue/max profits. Could the 4060 scam being launched much cheaper... Yes, that's for sure. And that card should have been branded 4050. Period.

AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT Review

Averaged over the 25 games in our test suite, at 1440p resolution, the RX 7800 XT is able to beat NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, and on top of that the RX 7800 XT is $100 cheaper at the same time

With honest pricing?
Exactly.

Exactly.
The 7800xt is NOT 100$ cheaper though. Sure if you compare MSRP, but the 4070 was released 6 months ago, it's MSRP isnt applicable anymore. The 4070 costs pretty much the same as the 7800xt throughout EU. Also, of course you are just cherrypicking one part of the review. You skipped the part where it is slower in RT, it consumes a lot more power and it lacks DLSS and FG.

Not that I expected an amd fan to be honest, but try a bit harder to hide the fact next time.

Too bad that this game is only going to be available on the Epic Games Store for the PC release. I would buy it if it came to Steam. :(

Are you serious? One of my most anticipated games of the year, and I'm not getting it, either?

It wouldn't be a principle if it hadn't exact a price on you at some point now, would it?

You mean if I got it for free? No, I would still boycott Epic as long as they continue with their exclusivity contracts with developers (who also need to learn not to sign such contracts).

I'll just wait for the eventual Steam release anyway. Until then, there's more than one way to get a game, if you know what I mean. ;)

No, I mean you have to wait for it if it's exclusive at Epic if you want to boycot them.

I also hope you boycot Steam too until they don't release the Half Life frenchise and others at GoG. And Nintendo, Sony/Playstation, Microsoft/Xbox. You know, just for consistency.

Sure, I'll wait for the Steam release. I've got plenty of games to play until then. :)

Why would I boycott Steam and GOG? I only boycott Epic because of their exclusivity deals with devs which Steam and GOG don't have.

As for Sony and Microsoft, the only consoles I own are a PlayStation 2 and a PSP, so that pretty much takes care of it.

My take on this promo for GeForce RTX 40 Series. Everyone know the 4060 offer bad value in all ways. And Nvidia want to rub it in. You "stupids" who bought this overpriced 128bit scam (in short 4050 card) isn't worthy getting the free bundle with Alan Wake 2. You went too cheapo for Nvidia CEO Jensen's taste(you are not an Graphics entusiast), hence Nvidia want to screw you a second time, LOOL
Indeed shitfest , AMD gave away starfield with the £249 7600 I built a pc with last week.

So saying the 40 series is also total balls OP

It's SELECT 40 series CARDS, @GFreeman not all, how about you make a title that involves truth without inflating the appeal of the deal by bullshit.

Yeah, just when I said in another thread a couple of weeks ago that the 4060 is the only 40-series card I think is worth getting, provided it sells at the same price as the 7600. Maybe that's why it's not included.

Didn't said anything about boycoting GoG. Said boycoting Steam as long as they have exclusive deals which are unavailable anywhere else which they have a ton of even apart from their own titles. Pretty dubious double-standard IMHO...

Steam is the oldest platform, so about 80% of my games are there, and I'd like to keep it that way.

The rest are around 15% GOG and 5% EA (obtained through coupon codes and Steam games that also require the EA app to run).

These are more than enough launchers running on my PC when in fact, I do not even care about the functionality of the launcher app. I would be fine with an oldschool Start menu shortcut.

So no more launchers for me, thank you. If you call that a double standard, that's your choice.

I feel you! I have over 6 thousand games on Steam. I don't plan on using another PC platform other than Steam since all of my games are already consolidated on that platform. I can't stand the exclusivity BS that the Epic Games Store is doing, as it's 100% anti-consumer and a burden on PC gamers.
