ok, PLEASE help quick!

i have 9800se 256 mb 128bit ...
378mhz core, 290mhz memory (580mhz)
i can sell it only 2morow for 80 $

& i can buy 9600xt 128mb from Connect3D for 100$
i believe it has 500mhz core and 300mhz memory (600mhz)

i can't unlock any pipes with my 9800se, i can't even OC; ok, it get's to 390mhz on core; memory sucks BIG TIME - no OC!!!

so, what do you think? should i spend 20 $ and get 9600xt? i need some GPU for cca. 1/2 a year - than i'll be buying a new PC, so i don't want 2 spend much money on new GPU at the moment - but 20 $ is not much, so i just want to know ... IS IT WORTH IT?

ps: many * for mods:D

Please get back on topic and drop this matter. Your thread was simply closed due to an inappropriate title. Changing thread titles is not an easy task, and with so many of them happening (not as many now due to the method used to resolve the matter) we would be for ever changing them.

Your little rant about mods is not making you look very good and it's not helping you at all now. If you were to just drop it after it was done, your second thread would not have been closed. If you do not drop this now and get back to the purpose of the forum, this matter will be dealt with another way. If you want talk to us on this more, email use, don't do it in the forums.

I would say go for it. But I wouldn't get the 9600xt, you can get a 9800pro or a X700 for about the same price. Normally I would suggest the 9800pro but the $100 apollo 9800pro I sent you the ling for is odd. The memory is shaped different and is in the wrong spot, I don't know if the would impact performance or not. If you can spring $124 for the Sapphire 9800pro then I would say definitely go for that.

there are rules on these forums, if you dont like them you are free to go elsewhere.

if mods change titles, people will never care or try to make good titles. so the work for the mods grows endlessly where it would take a maximum of three seconds of giving thought for the user. also changed thread titles tend to get lost because nobody knows the new thread name

That's too bad. Go for the 9600xt then, it's probably $20 better.

Did an OC; from 277mhz -> 365 mhz (but put it on a sefe 345 mhz)
i don't have much luck with memory; 270 mhz it is & it's staying (3'6ns memory:rolleyes: ) -well with ATI tool it got to a 310 mhz, but than want down in a flash - anyways, it's cool.
