24h is enough for playing through the whole single-player campaign on a lot of games. Battlefield series, COD etc. I welcome it as I refuse to pay $40++ for 12-24h of gameplay. I never play online these days. But... if I really enjoy playing the campaign mode, I might pick it up. Cheats, bad behavior and unbalanced game dynamics are all eradicated these days, right?

You can borrow the game for couple of dollars on www.cheaap.com they will borrow you steam account with game you desire and after time runs out just log you out.

I expect that person meant they lend you an account with the game you want (against TOS, but that's another matter).

Other languages can use the same word for borrow and lend.
